Yes.

It will be interesting to watch Hillary.

No doubt she and Bill will adopt a child to use as a campaign prop.

Let me guess. Kerry, for reasons of personal vanity, would have preferred to keep the hearing problem(?) concealed indefinitely, thus creating a long stream of verbal understandings while in office.

Kerry is disqualified from high office for being incapable of telling the truth in a timely manner.

I have never understood why he made such a big deal out of 4 months of service.

Because Kerry, overall, is a girly man, and it's the one thing he can point to, other than giving
mouth to mouth to a hamster named Lemiwinks or some such.

Do you remember that during the primaries, the Kerry Kampaign fired Chris Lehaine(sp?) for suggesting
that Kerry back off the Vietnam thing?

In a perfect world, the voters of MA would fire Kerry and Kennedy the next time they're up for reelection.

Not likely. The Springfield Republican's (newspaper, not political party) below-the-fold lead article had words to the effect that not a single pro-gay marriage legislator was defeated. It went on to say that they were considering a move to DROP consideration of the state constitutional amendment to ban the marriages, implemented by appointed (not elected) state supremes. I'll try to find the article.

Sir, your remarks are so unkind that I shall be forced to bring them to Senator Kerry's attention. I shall be spending Christmas with John and Teresa, boating on the river in Cambodia. His reaction to my note (he's deaf you know, war injury) will be so swift, that it will be seared in your memory.

I shouldn't be at all surprised, were I you, if you were to be sued in court for libel (or slander, or malpractice, or something) by John Edwards, as well.

On the afternoon of Aug. 9, John F. Kerry stood on the lip of the Grand Canyon, about to make one of the biggest mistakes of his three-year quest for the presidency. A stiff wind was blowing across the canyon, and Kerry, whose hearing was damaged by gun blasts in Vietnam, had trouble understanding some of the questions being thrown his way. But he pressed on, coughing from the pollen blowing on the breeze.

Sulfur Dioxide.... Maybe.

POLLEN??? Not in August! The hottest month of the year when NOTHING flowers.

Journalistic fraud. Opinion stated as if it were fact. Journalist to be terminated, Editor sent back to retake Journalism 101.

IMHO, this is the main thing journalists do wrong on a consistent basis, and no one calls them on it. You can find it in almost every article in the paper and news magazines. Very few journalists have any credibility anymore. It sure doesn't look like they teach it in journalism school to me.

Kerry, whose hearing was damaged by gun blasts in Vietnam...

Oh shi'-ite, I see another Purple Heart request coming.

Seriously, if this is even true, that would mean he's receiving some sort of gubmint Disability Payment each month. After all, a guy who groveled after PH's for scratches is NOT going to let a military related injury go without getting his 'just' compensation.

So my questions are ....

  1. Is this money being disclosed as required by law??
  2. If his hearing was damaged by "gun blasts" (ha-ha-ha) he would have been given a Medical Profile - PROHIBTING him from being anywhere NEAR live fire - period. And that would have gotten him out of Nam ASAP, but THAT has never been mentioned, WHY????
  3. Is it possible that sKerry is afraid to let the public know that as he's married to a Billionaire, he's low enough to accept a monthly gubmint disability check for $82.59! (or some such pittance for his "partial disability")

So c'mon John you have nothing to loose now, RELEASE your records and sign that SF180. Oh and pleeeeeeease, tell 'us' MORE about all your "war injuries".

[An aside; two days ago I received very bad news about one of my best friends who was 'In Country' and came close to 'buying it' in '67 and I'm kind of 'bummed out' at the present. So this scum bag phony war hero Kerry is really, REALLY, pi$$ing me off now]

.. I SEE ... so Kerry had a "POOFY SHIRT" incident where his time in VIETNAM, ( did you know he was in Vietnam? ) A stiff wind, and Pollen all contributed to his unfortunate answer to a reporter's question. ... so THATS why the American people voted for BUSH

... I think that the truth is more likely the Nine hundred and Ninety Nine OTHER 'flip flops' that did him in, and one incident at the grand canyon is wishful thinking by the Boston Globe.

Please. He was in-country for what, 120 days, during which he may - or may not - have fired his weapon or had weapons fired in close proximity to him. There is real question as to whether or not he was actually in combat. Enough is enough - the Vietnam "hero" myth has been completely debunked and yet rags like the Boston Globe continue to perpetuate it. Give it up.

Myself, I am troubled by the continuing assertion that Max Cleland is a "War Hero". His story is even more pathetic than Kerry's. The reason you never hear of his medals is that in his case, the Army issued no medals because his injuries were the result of his utter stupidity and drunkedness when he picked up a live grenade while on his way to party.

There was NO combat involved in Clelands accident, as the Globe innaccurately asserts. The lies and omissions in his record are even more disturbing than Kerry's.

Yeah, right. Flip-flops, MSM carrying his water, maniacal talking heads pimping for him,
back-stabbing the troops now, as he did in the early 1970s, promising to make the US subservient
to the UN, sucking up to France, harassing the USSS agents sworn to protect him, hiding
his $800K yacht that Joe Sixpack couldn't afford the gas to operate, cheating the US taxpayers
out of his Senate paycheck, picking a trial lawyer as a running mate, the running mate's
wife implying riots if they lose, being a hypocrite about the military, being Teddy K. lapdog,
appearing to be a gigolo, having a plan that nobody can see, not doing anything as a Senator
for 20 years, ...

I read the whole dang thing....did I miss any mention of Teresa's contributions to the loss?

This was really interesting to read, as it made me remember every moment I had of worry, frustration, and anger since 2 summers ago when I knew instictively that Kerry would be the Dems' nominee. He was all they had to throw up against Commander In Chief Bush, and it's really good to find out how they decided to overplay that hand.

"Reporting for duty". I LOVE knowing Max Cleland is responsible for that embarrassingly cheesy line! Maybe soon enough we'll find out what else Cleland contributed to the campaign, via CBS. I'd almost bet the farm he's connected to the memo. And I bet by now Cleland couldn't get Kerry to accept a call if his wheelchair were on fire.
