It started the day after the US presidential election with a student posting a picture of himself on the internet holding up a sign reading: "Sorry world (we tried) - half of America". Within a few days, the website www.sorryeverybody.com set up by James Zetlen, had 27m hits, he said. The site features more than 2,200 pictures of contrite Americans holding up placards expressing their sorrow at the victory of George Bush.
"It was mind-boggling the amount of emotion the website has triggered," says the 20-year-old neuroscience student, who attends the University of Southern California.
But Zetlen's site for rueful Americans has spawned at least eight others for people who say they are not at all sorry that Mr Bush beat the Democratic presidential candidate, John Kerry.
Can we get a collection together and ship these sorry excuses for human beings out of this country?
Is anyone surprised that a gathering place for American hating Leftists would be poplular?

A more apt description would be "2200 pictures of odd-looking Americans" with pieced body parts, lots of acne and unusual clothing.

Last time I was on there, about 1/4 of them were idiot Europeans and Canadians expressing their thanks to the "Sorry" losers, or telling them they didn't need to apologize.
What a freak. He talks about all of the founding fathers being from New England, but forgets about a few. Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Patrick Henry, and a few other guys from Virginia. It goes downhill from there.

It's clear to me that there is no possible way to reconcile anything with people who think like this. I keep hearing how it is the President's responsibility to reach out to those who did not vote for him. How? Why would anyone want to reach out to dregs such as this?

You're making a pretty big assumption when you say "people who "THINK" like this." What makes you think that any one of these people are capable of thought. And a drug induced thought does not count for the purposes of this discussion.
