A shrimp boom would be more popular.
Maybe Chinese restaraunts will stop trying to pass of cuttlefish as squid?
"My wife does the tenderloin, I'll go for the porterhouse, although the butcher I go to recommended one of his rib eyes the last time I went, cut off the bone in the store and marbled like you wouldn't believe - very tasty."
Try a bone-in ribeye next time.
To cook, pass briefly over open flame.
If it still moo's and you could slap on a bandaid and kick it back to pasture, it's cooked enough.
BTTT!!!!!!!
my bro in law was traveling on biz a month or so back, and emailed me the menu of the steak house (hi end) that his client was taking him to...
he asked me for my advice on what to get (not that he needs it, he's a red meat guy), but the bone in ribeye was what caught my eye. He said it was awesome.
LOL about your cooking technique...I do the same minus the bandaid.
I have to say, the rise of the Squid is too AWESOME for words!!! Cephalopods ARE the future of marine life on planet Earth. More calamari you say? With each new generation their intelligence is increasing and will one day become equal to humans.
