I was watching Hardball tonight and while Mathew's was interviewing a former military man taking comments about a soldier who killed a terrorist on camera and is now in trouble for it. Mathew's describing the insurgents said, "Insurgents aren't bad they just disagree with us."

Matthews was also downtrodden when the Berlin wall came down, when we booted Saddam out of Kuwait, and every other instance when America smashes the bad guys. He's a homosexual version of Jimmy Carter.

I've been watching the show, and I didn't hear Matthews say that. Wait for the transcript.
Of course not, they're just misunderstood fuzzy bunnies who happen to shoot people in the back of the head and hang their charred corpses from bridges. Except for the disemboweling and decapitating part, why, they're just like you and me!

I SWEAR to God I could NOT believe my ears when I heard him. He was frothing at the bit over the reporter who is giving all bad news. No doubt- it's very rough going in Iraq at this time...but it is sickening listening to Chris react with glee to it all...
This incident is being blown way out of proportion. The soldier apparently DID NOT KNOW the man was injured, and thought he was (in his own words) faking death by lying between a bunch of dead insurgents. Afterwards, the soldier was heard saying "I did not know Sir, I did not know". Now, he's being crucified, after just one day earlier being hit in the face by a bullet. Perhaps he was a little jumpy after being injured the day before, saw something move, and had to make a split second decision.
Dammit, this makes me angry! The media is completely ignoring any other acts of bravery and now using this incidient to smear all the soldiers and marines who are out ther fighting.
STOP THE EMBEDDED REPRTER SYSTEM NOW!!

What reality-altering drug is Chris Matthews ON, anyway? Something that causes the face to redden, and spittle to fly, and completely shuts down the ability to either hear or stop shouting.
