"Waiting for an elevator, Kerry elaborated, ``I'm always happy to be back here. It's a privilege to represent Massachusetts.''

FOFL. Riiiiiight!

Kerry must think his democrat comrades are either stupid or have bad memories. The last time they ran a proven loser twice was Stevenson, after that they said never again. I suspect Kerry will be quietly shuffled off into the dustbin of history , like Stevenson.

Let's *all* get in touch with our "inner democrat" Dark Sides!

I don't think so. I will vote for every candidate running against a RAT. No more straight tickets for me.

My almost 19 yr old daughter knows better than most on the left. We taught her the same thing. She wanted to vote straight Republican. I told her what I do. There is no way she would ever vote for one of "them".

I was being a smart*ss...;))

I'd wouldn't vote for one of them either.

Hubby and I just went through this same discussion regarding a local school board candidate.
Hubby knows the guy and said even though he was a Dem, he was a "decent fellow".

I didn't care how "great" he was; he was a Dem and wasn't getting my vote.

Was that unreasonable of me?
Probably...and it's just too d*mn bad....:)

You've probably seen that email - matter of fact, I think it was on FR some time ago.

The story about the dad who told his daughter to give some of her college credits to her friend who was in danger of failing.

If she gave her friend some credits, they would both pass, and she would feel good about helping her friend.

The daughter said the grades were HERS and wasn't going to give any away.

He then told her, "Welcome to the Republican party."

My daughter sent that email to several liberal friends. They are not so liberal after all. Kids do learn life's lessons the hard way.
