I don't think you needed to include 'closet' in your sentence. I can't tell you the number of times I have been out with the oh-so tolerant NE liberals (of all religious persuasions) and the level of racist, bigoted, anti-Christian comments that have come out of their mouths.
Open bigots. No closet needed.

Of course, we all know that Ms. Rice is not a black woman. No, the left thinks of her as a white person with a nice tan. If these had been posted in papers by a white person, against say Jessie or the Rev. Al, the stink would be brutal.

I really do believe that many libs are closet racists. They make so much of the issue, are so obsessed with it, that I think there's a real projection going on, a projection of their own unregognized attitudes onto others.
I will never understand how blacks (and Jews) could vote ponderously Democrat, yet.
It's amazing how so many of these lib cartoonists latch onto a sexual motif when Condi is the topic; it seems that the only way they can imagine a black woman is as a forbidden sexual conquest. So they project this into the Bush-Rice relationship.

You'd think that if they were that disgusting and grotesque, then you would have just commented on them, and not produced the actual cartoon for all to see.
I don't consider the depictions necessarily racist, bigoted, etc., but of course if a conservative cartoonist had thus depicted a LIBERAL black woman, then the cartoonist would be placed in stocks and pillory.
Double standard, as usual ... benefitting liberals.
