Azzam the American

We are urgently seeking information on the identity of the person pictured here--a self-proclaimed American jihadist using the alias 'Azzam the American, aka 'Azzam Al-Amriki

He may currently be located outside the United States.

To give you as much information as possible on this person, we are attaching clips from the video interview he recently gave, and the transcript of those clips. We hope you might recognize him from his voice, his body language, or the style and content of his speech.

FBI seeks help in missing fuel tanker case : November 12, 2004

"We're asking the public to be on the lookout for a fuel tanker in a location inconsistent with where you'd typically see an oil or gasoline delivery," FBI spokeswoman Jerri Williams said.

Williams said investigators initially believed the tanker was stolen for parts or to dump toxic waste illegally.

"We're very concerned. It's been almost seven months, and we still haven't found it," she said.

Have I posted this here before? If not, I will do so again. This map is two years old and more Mosque's have sprung up across the United States since.

While reading Space.com, something hit me this morning (tin foil hat firmly in place).

Remember, Bin Laden and his buddies are reported to put great significance in the celestial signs. On December 7, Jupiter passes behind the moon.

To quote Space.com, "The last time New Yorkers were treated to such a favorably placed dark-sky Jupiter occultation was on Sept. 3, 1889. After 2004, there will not be another similarly favorable Jupiter occultation for most North Americans until Oct. 6, 2026."

In ancient mythology, Jupiter was the King. Jupiter aligning with some "house" in the sky was an indication that a King was born in that "house".

Jupiter passing behind the moon was possibly one of the signs the Magi interpreted to mean a great King had just been born in Israel.

Islam puts great store in the Moon. Jupiter passing behind the moon, visible prominently in the U.S., could be interpreted by the Muslims as the "birth", of another King, this time the Mahdi (something Bin Laden supporters hope he will become). Since the Moon (symbolizing Islam) will be so unusually visible over the U.S. at the time, it could also be seen as a celestial sign that Islam is to become dominant over the U.S. at that time.

I know nothing about how Bin Laden and his friends interpret what they consider celestial signs, other than that he and his followers put great store in them. There are more occultations in November: Moon to Venus (10th?), Moon to Mars (11th?) and Moon to Mercury (14th). Whether the bad guys would consider these significant I do not know.

To put this in perspective: Hanukkah begins at sundown on Tuesday, December 7, this year. For that matter, December 7 is also Pearl Harbor Day. I have been assuming nothing will happen until Iran has nukes (less than six months to go), and that still seems the most likely timing to me. But this still looked interesting enough to mention.
