Organisers worried about smell of horse dung at VMA's

Organisers of the MTV Europe Music Awards are in a panic over an unusual last minute problem - horse dung.
The ceremony is taking place in the Tore di Valle racecourse in Rome later and bosses are worried the overpowering smell of manure will offend star guests.
An insider said: "All the dressing rooms are based around the track and it really stank of horse dung at first. Organisers have been desperate cleaning to get rid of the smell."
Stars including Eminem, Gwen Stefani, Franz Ferdinand - who will also be performing - and Anastacia are all expected to attend the televised event, which will be hosted by rapper Xzibit reports Femalefirst.
OutKast lead the field at the annual awards with five nominations, including best group and best song for Hey Ya.
British contenders are Franz Ferdinand with three nominations.

I stayed at a "bed and breakfast" inn Gatow Germany, just outside of Berlin, a couple years ago. They actually complained about Americans showering everynight because it costed the more money for laundry and cleaning.....

I stayed at a hotel in Florida this year and they charged me for Amenities IE: Cleaning the room.
I wont be staying there any more.

I think amenities are soap, shampoo, conditioner, mint, towels, toilet paper, etc...

I saw a poll on TV yesterday that claimed the number one complaint of German office workers was the smell of their co-workers. To any Germans out there, is not showering every day a cultural thing or are some Germans just to lazy to bother?
