I think that's it - also, don't shave the body, at least not with a straight razor. I don't shave my body anyway, and I've never noticed anybody that I train with having big, crusty, open sores.

I think I would take a pass on training with somebody sporting some scabby-looking parts. :-)

Native Americans???? They mention NAs and don't say WHY they're included in this group. Odd.

They may not know why. Sweat lodge maybe?

I still say that this could be interpreted as a crutch to ignore the fact that the lifestyle is what causes this; the random sex, the saunas, etc.

Body contact of infected carbuncles may be the main reason.

I don't care WHO the heck has infected carbuncles, I ain't touching them! I guess if someone thinks anal sex is great, why would touching infected carbuncles bother them?

Promiscuous skin-to-skin contact increases contractibility with every disease.

This MRSN staph is scary stuff.
I've had two friends get MRSN from a mere nick and a scrape on their arms.

One; a woman,is an electrician- she nicked her arm on the T-Bar ceiling in a hospital while pulling wire.

The other, a guy, scraped his arm while playing basketball (figures it might have been transferred to his scrape via the locker room towel)

Both spent a week in the hospital, and both damn near lost their arms over it.

Now, knowing what we know about what homos do, for their contact point of the bacteria? It ain't arms they'll be losing, but I can't say as I feel sorry for 'em.

This thing started from over-use of anti-biotics, but count on gays to turn it into some superstrain of bizarre proportions.

Regards

My question is this, if "body shaving" is what is really causing the increase in cases, why aren't women more susceptible. They shave their legs almost daily.

Maybe they don't visit bathhouses?

I had my first and only pedicure a week ago. After doing a lot of reading on pedicures, I decided not to shave my legs beforehand. It went really well and was a nice experience. The only bad thing was that I hadn't shaved in 5 days and when she lifted my pant leg, I was pretty embarrassed by how hairy my legs were! I just shaved them after the pedicure, though. If you make sure the salon is clean and don't mind looking like a Sasquatch for a few days, it's a really relaxing experience (especially for us mothers!)

That is just wrong. I would need to spend a year in electrolysis if my back looked like that.

Hot tubs are maintained at a temperature of 104-108, a perfect incubator.

Is there any level below these people won't sink to pervert their already perverted lifestyle?

Shaving is now a perverted lifestyle?

Sweat lodge maybe?

I thought of that, too. It could just be lowered resistance to infection overall, because of poverty, poor nutrition, poor sanitation. TaxRelief posted the title of an article which referenced a "rural" American Indian community.

As a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner/Submission Wrestler, I experience frequent close contact with other men. (not that there's anything wrong with that....) It looks like I'm safe as long as I don't shave my body and/or share towels? Is that the key here? Geez, I thought ringworm was the only thing I had to look out for. Thanks!

Forgive my obtuseness, but

IF YOU'RE A MAN, WHY ARE YOU SHAVING YOUR BODY, ANYWAY?

That was hilarious, Jimmyclyde. Dare you to go down to the nearest BJJ academy, walk in the door, and tell them that they're homos.

I dare you.
