An outwardly heterosexual youth pastor and seventh-grade math teacher is the only sexual abuser I encountered as a child. He specialized in seventh-grade boys.

He abused his power and authority, especially over the boys, such as me, who were both parishioners as well as students. He really messed up one kid, who's never been the same since.

Fortunately, I was only psychologically abused, not physically.

I am amazed that the guy survived, in light of the stature in the community of the parents of the kids he molested.

Yes, I've done some research on child psychiatrists. Quite a few of them (many of of them Ivy League-trained) have been convicted of child molestation.

Of course they do!! and the child sexual assaults being a precursor for becoming a homosexual is no surprise either. Not all do, but the majority of men were abused as children. This is not news, and further amplifies the fact that it is a mental disorder.
