I liked the writing, but what is a "quad," "Pismo," and "Central Valley?" Pismo Beach? Central Valley in California? No idea about "quad."

Central Valley California, specifically the Trifecta of the Kern-Tulare-Fresno center of the universe with unemployment rate as high as 16%.... Pismo Beach....Quad is a 5,000 motorcycle with 4 wheels.
