Many gay activists compare their current civil rights struggles with those faced by blacks in the segregated South in the 1950s. The comparison is deemed offensive by many blacks, given that the average black income is still much lower than the average white income in America. Blacks educational attainment still falls well below that of white Americans, even fifty years after the landmark Brown decision.
By contrast, gay Americans are wealthier and more educated than their straight counterparts. Nonetheless, lesbian millionaire (and North Carolina Senator) Julia Boseman thinks they need a helping hand. Thats why her family started a special scholarship at UNC-Wilmington to help gays with their ongoing struggle for civil rights. Some day, they hope that gay Americans will even have the right to vote.
UNCWs Boseman-Tenhuisen scholarship was designed to help end discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation by giving people money for their education if they are a member of an oppressed sexual minority group with more education and greater wealth than the general population. For those who are wondering, Tenhuisen is a Dutch word meaning its okay for us to talk about our sexuality, but if you do well sue you for compensatory and punitive damages, together with injunctive relief.
After the Boseman-Tenhuisen scholarship was established, a university press release and a story in the local Wilmington McTimes applauded the new civil rights initiative. Both were written without the help of conservatives in order to avoid any unpleasant developments (read: lawsuits).
Of course, not all of the money that the wealthy and powerful Boseman family gives to the university is related to the gay civil rights struggle. The Bosemans also gave a lot of money to the university to build a new softball field. With unprecedented creativity and discretion, the new complex was named Boseman Field.
Of course, once the university had a new softball field, officials decided to conduct a national search to find a new coach who would turn UNC-Wilmington into a national powerhouse in womens softball. The lengthy process of conducting a national search was expedited by asking all applicants two questions: 1) Are you involved in a lesbian relationship with Julia Boseman? And, 2) Have you ever watched a womens softball game?
After answering yes to both questions, future Senator Bosemans girlfriend (who was flown in from all the way across town) was hired for the job. The UNC-Wilmington womens softball team has been a national powerhouse ever since. (For those seeking to file a frivolous lawsuit, the two previous paragraphs were an attempt at political humor. It was not meant to defame those involved in the hiring process).
After Bosemans girlfriend took over the universitys softball program, a brave politician decided to go public with charges that some local politicians were using their power and influence to win government jobs for their friends. The brave politician who made the accusations of unethical conduct was none other than Julia Boseman.
Julia Boseman stood up for ethics in government by accusing local politicians of being involved in a good ole boys network. The key word in that phrase is boys. Clearly, Boseman was upset that not enough lucrative jobs were going to lesbians with friends in government, but instead to straight white Christian males who have never even played a game of softball. The non-lesbian who was fired after 18 years of coaching UNCW softball (and not being in a lesbian relationship with Julia Boseman) was unavailable for comment.
The Senator Boseman saga just keeps getting more interesting, doesnt it? Unfortunately, I cant reveal everything that I know right now because I have my hands tied with a new lawsuit. The suit has its origins in a nasty rumor circulating around town. It seems that one of the Bosemans, who insists that he is not a sperm donor (I guess that makes him a sperm hoarder), is the one who has started the rumor about me. According to my unimpeachable sources, he has stated publicly and falsely that I am an organ donor. That isnt true. I keep all of my organs to myself, especially now that I am a married man.
But I want all of my readers to know that Im mad as hell, and Im not going to take this kind of abuse (even though I am a public figure). As a result of the sperm hoarders false and defamatory speech, I intend to file a lawsuit seeking compensatory and punitive damages, together with injunctive relief. (Sound familiar?). The problem is that I cannot find an attorney. One of my attorneys is currently on his honeymoon. My other attorney, David Limbaugh, is busy finding a publisher for my second book, The Art of Cultural War: Rules for Republican Radicals. Does anyone know what John Edwards is doing for the next few months?
I suppose that, in a way, I feel sorry for Julia Boseman. While all of the good ole boys are playing hardball, all she wants to do is play a little softball. Life sure is tough when youre a lesbian millionaire.
No mention about "The Gay Rodeo"?
I stand with the muslims on lesbian millionaires.
'Pay differential' -- my elbow!
Who is town hall?
>By contrast, gay Americans are wealthier and more educated than their straight counterparts
Where on earth does this absolute crap come from?
Gay americans are more educated than I?
Wealthier? Give me a break.
Town Hall is a website that features articles by conservative writers.
On the average, yes, homosexual Americans are wealthier and more likely to have a more extensive college education.
Q: What is the difference between black and homosexuals?
A: Blacks actually exist.
That's because they are childless.
I'd be a lot wealthier and maybe have even more education if I hadn't produced children-- children who will pay the taxes that will sustain these useless locusts when they are dying of hepatitis B in a San Francisco nursing home twenty years from now.
And conversely, Mamas dont let your cowboys grow up to be cowgirls.
Exactly - it is said that Keynesian economics (which has pretty much been discredited with its theories of economic Nirvana based on 'Deficit spending') had its roots in Keynes homosexuality - since gays have no offspring - there is no point to leaving any kind of intergenerational inheritance - it makes the most sense to go out with an enormouse debt owed to others that will never be paid - also during your life time you only accumulate wealth for immediate, personal gratification - AND remember 'education' doesn't equate to morality, intelligence or, necessarily, 'smarts'.
As was pointed out in another reply, they have no familial responsibilities nor do they even have to plan for such.
Yes, on the average, homosexuals are wealthier and better educated than heterosexuals. It doesn't mean every homosexual is wealthy or well educated than the average heterosexual, nor does it mean that every heterosexual is less wealthy and less well-educated than the average homosexual.
In my community, the homosexuals definitely go to school longer and have more money, because most of them don't have children.
""Gay individual income is more than 300% greater than average Americans' -- and an enormous 1,200% greater than disadvantaged African Americans.
A few stats:
More than three times as many gays as average Americans are college graduates (59.6% vs. 18.0%; gays average 15.7 years' education vs. 12.7 for average Americans) -- dwarfing achievements of truly disadvantaged African-Americans and Hispanics. More than three times as many gays as average Americans hold professional or managerial positions (49.0% vs. 15.9%) -- making gays embarrassingly more advantaged than true minorities in the job market...Gays households are four times as likely as average Americans to be earning in excess of $100,000 annually...While 32.8% of African Americans live below the poverty line ($8,343 for 2-person households under age 65 [Statistical Abstract of the United States, 1990]), 62% of gay households earn more than the average American household, and more than 95% of gay households live above the poverty line""
The point that the Town Hall article is making is that homosexuals are not and never have been an oppressed minority the way blacks were at one time. Even today, homosexuals are doing far, far better than blacks (although the situation is improving for the latter).
Why would homosexuals need special scholarships, when they're already better educated than most people (again, on the average)? That's the point the article is making.
Mommas dont let your little girls grow up to play softball.
The sport has been a prime lesbian stomping-ground.
No gay rodeo yet but California has a black rodeo.
Homosexuals also constantly compare themselves to blacks and to now being even much more oppressed and discriminated against than blacks once were.
This is a vicious and blant lying proganda campaign and proves that homesexuals can and will use anything or anyone to establish "special" and "more than equal" and "hate crime" rights that other American citizens have never and will never and should not ever have.
This is a three-fold scam using blacks:
1 - A blatant racist attempt to gain credibility and identity and sympathy of blacks and others.
2 - A blatant racist attempt to use natural birth within a race to propandize the public that homosexuality is genetically natural from birth and life-style choice is never involved.
3 - And another brilliant point I seem to have forgotten temporarily as I have not had enough strong hot coffee yet. Please feel free to fill in your own brilliant third point here. You can handle it I know.
I remember making my brother laugh when I would change the words in that song to:
Mamas don't let your cowboys grow up to be babies .....
"No gay rodeo yet but California has a black rodeo."
And one of my few "brushes with fame" is having grown up in Ponca City, OK...
just a few miles from the few structural remains of the famed 101 Ranch
(Miller Brothers) that employed legendary cowboy Bill Pickett who invented
"bulldogging" (or "steerwrestling"):
Homosexual Agenda Ping - just got this, haven't read it yet. But this reminds me of a freepmail I got this AM, from a nameless freeper who disagrees with my position about homosexuality.
He/she says that there is a higher proportion of homosexuals among people who are intelligent and successful. Well, first he/she said among geniuses. Then it was successful. IOW, homosexuals aren't just "regular folks" - they're the cream of the crop.
I said I'd listen to his/her opinon when he/she gives me something that refutes the info that Scripter and EdReform post for everyone's edification. And the fact that there are thousands of FORMER homosexuals kind of ruins the whole argument, too.
Let me and ItsOurTimeNow if anyone wants on/off this list.
I've read this guy's articles before - keep 'em coming! Nothing like humor to brighten up stories about the antics of homo-promoters.
The wealth thing has been figured out (no kids, two incomes) but here's the educated part. Since leftists and homosexuals far outweigh normal conservatives among the academic elite, and college courses are heavily larded with total leftist homo-promoting crap, it's natural that universtities will churn out a larger number of homosexuals than, say, your local community college welding apprenticeship and sheet metal workers programs.
An attorney I know wanted to buy an investment property near the courthouse. It was owned by a homosexual who told him to his face he would not sell it to him because he wanted to sell it to someone who shared his lifestyle.
Homosexuals seem ready to cry foul for any percieved slight but they have to reciprocal notions of "equity".
The Gay-stapo chose the wrong guy to pick on in Mike Adams. Thank heavens for him.
Homosexuals are generally successful. Dare I venture to guess it is because they can devote more time to making money because they have no children? They don't have to spend as much time as heterosexuals dating and on long term relationships because they cut through the chase and do it in public bathrooms and gay bars.
