"Martyrdom" is the one act that a Muslim can perform that absolutely guarantees he will go to the Muslim paradise. It logically follows that, for someone about to commit "martyrdom", all things are permitted. He can drink, screw, smoke, eat pork -- ALL acts are permitted, because all will be forgiven once he commits "martyrdom". Conversely, for someone who has sinned against the laws of Islam (like a girl being with a guy), "martyrdom" is the only sure way of getting absolution.
