"It's only about sex."
That was the mantra of the Democrats and their big-media stooges during the Clinton impeachment trial. "Yes, he lied under oath, but it was all about sex," they intoned.
Now, in an ironic twist, a new poll reveals that most people think the Clinton years were indeed all about sex.
Fifty-three percent of those responding to the Polling Company survey said that the Lewinsky affair is what they will remember most about the Clinton years. Only 11 percent will remember Clinton as a good president.
While his impeachment is conspicuous by its near absence in the new presidential library in Little Rock, history will record that he is the first elected U.S. president to be impeached and that our foreign policy of wagging the dog left us defenseless on 9/11.
Last week, when ABC anchorman Peter Jennings asked Clinton why historians rated him second to last among his fellow presidents in terms of moral authority, Clinton nearly bit his head off.
Judging by the results of the Clinton legacy poll, Jennings' question was right on the mark.
When you look at BJ's approval rating from when he left office, this is an incredible drop.
Well he has what he desired most, A LEGACY! Though not the legacy he had in mind.
A legacy of ridicule. No retrospective of the Clinton Presidency will ever come forth without the mention of Monica. Quite deserving of such a thing he is.
We musn't forget:
"It depends on what your meaning of the word "is" is."
It takes quite a personality to come to OWN a word like, "is."
I'll bet he gets "the Look" next time he sees Lard-legs for screwing up her future.
His legacy is now weak on terrorism
Now, in an ironic twist, a new poll reveals that most people think the Clinton years were indeed all about sex.
He he he--hoist on their own petard.
His legacy will be "friendly to terrorists".
And the Democrats think he was the greatest President of all time. The irony!
As far as BJ is concerned, that's what Viagra is for!
Is this what you were laughing about so heartily? :o)
Always remember to add slick willie to keywords because slick himself said that name cuts the deepest of all the names he was called. Of course he was probaly lieing about that too.

He who lives by the polls, dies by the polls .... (and lives forever by the polls)
The Stain
Americans remember Clinton for That Woman.
EDITOR'S NOTE: This is text from a Nov. 22 release from the polling company, inc.
When asked, "In your opinion, what will Bill Clinton be remembered for?" a majority of Americans cite some aspect of the former President's relationship with the White House intern, and a plurality mention her by name. Washington, D.C.
Specifically, 53% of Americans named "Monica Lewinsky" or the "affair, adultery, sex scandal" as the most memorable moment of President Clinton's eight years in office, more than four times the number who cited "the economy" (12%). Another 19% noted positive attributes about the former president, including 11% who remember him as a "good president."
Though the new Clinton Presidential Center states the former President developed "the world's strongest force for a 21st century community of peace and prosperity, freedom and security" only 6% of respondents mentioned any type of foreign relations as part of the Clinton Legacy, including a paltry 1% who identified him with the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
Additional key findings from the survey:
When asked "What will Bill Clinton be remembered for?" 31% of respondents mentioned Monica Lewinsky by name, while only 1% said his wife, "Hillary Clinton."
Seniors (65+) were twice as likely as the overall population to remember Clinton as a "good president," while younger adults (18-34) and those aged 35-44 (read: parents) especially likely to name "Monica Lewinsky" when they think of Bill Clinton's legacy.
Men are more likely than women to cite "Monica Lewinsky" by name when they hear "Bill Clinton" (34%- 30%, respectively).
African Americans and Hispanics were less likely than Whites to connect the Clinton legacy to some aspect of the sex scandal, but still named it as their primary top-of-mind recall.
Every demographic group surveyed volunteered some aspect of the Lewinsky Affair as the one thing they think Bill Clinton will be most remembered for, including some of his biggest supporters.
"Only 11 percent will remember Clinton as a good president."
The Democrat Base!
Impeached and disbarred. Waco. Elian. Columbine. OK bombing. US Cole. Embassy bombings. Israel/Palestine peace failure. Whitewater and several dozen other scandals. Suspicious deaths. The destruction of Democrat majorities in Federal and State government. If Republicans hadn't balanced the budget in his 2nd term and forced him to pass welfare reform the media would have nothing nice to say about him.
And everytime I see him, he looks sickly I wonder how many others he has raped and infected
Well, to be blunt one more time tonight, his legacy will be remembered as positive only among the congenitally weak minded and their enablers in academia, Hollywood and the Old Gay Lady (NYT). Sorry, but I had to say it.
Ask Juanita Broaddrick about his legacy. God, the stench.
" ... the Clinton years were indeed all about sex."
Rape is not sex. When I think of the 'toon, I think of him first as a rapist (Juanita Brodderick and others), secondly as a powerful man who preyed on women (Kathleen Willey and probably others) in their weakest moments.
After that ...
#3 Shameless pardoner
#4 Draft-dodger
#5 Self-promoting huckster
#6 Serial adulterer
#7 Consummate politician
I remember him for Gennifer Flowers! I could tell from her interview before Clinton's first term, that this was one sad loser.
So how many times is Gennifer mentioned in the new "presidential" library?
So, who's number 1?
Well, there is (or might be) one other positive aspect of his legacy - electrifying and activating the opposition. In a sense we owe our having GWB to clinton.
Rush calls it the clinton library and massage parlor.
People have had time now to reflect on the administration, without the daily spin from the Clinton protector's media.
You're right, that's the legacy, alright! Needs blowing up in a much bigger scale so that everyone can remember the IMPOTUS's REAL LEGACY!
Check this out.
It will only get worse for Bill Clinton. The truth will opt over time, and the American people will learn that Bill Clinton carries major responsibility for enabling the terrorists that caused 911. The Clinton library should have an ongoing tape of the attack on the WTC, the Pentagon and the field in Pennsylvania. It should highlight innocent human beings leaping from the WTC to escape burning jet fuel. These are these are the murdered victims of the Clinton administration and the Democrat Party that failed to protect America. Time, history and the truth will destroy Bill Clinton and his "Traitor" Democrat Party!!!
The whole article is hysterical, but the line that set me off was this:
Fifty-three percent of those responding to the Polling Company survey said that the Lewinsky affair is what they will remember most about the Clinton years.
Never has a POTUS so concerned with legacy had such a crappy one.
who was last?
I'll bet he gets "the Look" next time he sees Lard-legs for screwing up her future
Nobody but clinton screwed up his/her future, Don't blame "lard-legs". Just a dumb-assed kid!
Rush must really love radio to weather the drug addiction and divorce and still put out such a crazy and informative show. God bless him. I always know that things are going to get a little loopy when I hear "Ain't Got No Home."
It's called being hoisted on your own petard.
That was an excellent summation of his major accomplishments.
IMHO the worst presidents were probably Grant and Harding, both of their administrations were totally corrupt and scandal ridden (yeah I know they're both Republicans, but it's the truth).
In modern times, Carter was certainly the worst president (he was so much less effective than Clinton), he made a laughing stock of the country and his failures are entirely responsible for the groundwork of our present-day troubles with the jihadists.
There was an interesting poll taken while Clinton was in office which put Bill and Hillary in the top 5 with Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot as the most evil people of the 20th century. Compare that poll with this poll where Clinton comes in next to last. No other American president made it to the top ten of that 'evil' list.
Reagan's inaugaral address was amazing...and proves your point.
