There were a few, but with strictly administrative roles in modern cabinet positions: Espy for two years in agriculture, until he was caught taking payoffs from a fried chicken manufacturerer. (Leave it to Good ol' boy Bill to leave Espy in charge of that.) Alexis Herman, the invisible Labor secretary for two years. And the two lowest-ranking cabinet posts Clinton for kept black people: HHS and Veterans' Affairs. On average, there were three blacks in the Clinton cabinet at any given time. The highest post any of them held was commerce. There were no Hispanics after 1998, although Federico Pena and Henry Cisneros had low-ranking posts for a couple years.
Where is Al and Jessie
You won't hear from these guys.
My thoughts exactly. The WH needs a new Communications director. Bush team should be screaming to high heaven, and pointing out the obvious. Plus revoking Hell Thomas's credentials.
Oops: Forgot about Bill Richardson. And for an embarrassing reason: Scanning a list, "Richardson" didn't leap out at me as being an Hispanic name and I scanned so quickly I didn't think about it. Of course, he helps PROVE the Clinton pattern of a "ghetto-ized" cabinet. SecEnergy was held by two HIspanics and a black woman; one of three "all-minority" posts, all three of which are among the four lowest-ranking cabinet positions. In contrast, none of the nine Federalist-era secretaries were minority.
Oh, I'm so glad to hear the White House address this matter. Hopefully it will force the MSM to report on just how racist and sexist the radical left has been toward Condi.
Anyone remember slick willie ditching Lani Guinere so quickly, we hardly remembered they were the best of friends.........
It didn't take them long. This is not the first comment and it won't be the last, as I'm sure the lib hate-fest will carry on.
As opposed to someone in the clinton administration like Jocelyn Elders. /sarcasm
Why do you feel that is necessary?
Wowee! Pretty strong werds!

The White House Communications is none existent. It has worked well the past four years, however, if President Bush wants to get the tax and Social Security reform passed, he needs to have it articulated clearly. That is one thing you don't want the MSM and pundits explaining to the American People. Plus, I hate it when they don't bitch slap these people that call Administration members names.
