I work for a municipality in the liberal northeast US (those of you who know which one, please don't mention it here - I don't want the Grinches to set their sights over here) and there is a notice on the bulletin board for a Christmas Party!. Also, when one exits the elevator onto the floor where I work, right across the hall is a Christmas tree (the ornaments are secular, but you can't have everything).
