Yes, leave him there - where he can continue to do the damage he's been doing to the UN in the eyes of the US voting public.

***So, does Chirac think that arrant corruption should never be punished and is perfectly acceptable? Since he did it himself, I suppose so.***

You hit the nail on the head. The Old Europeans expect such behavior from their government officials. They think WE are naive because we investigate and punish anyone who steals from the people. In my opinion, one of the main reasons for the founding of the U.N. is to give these people an opportunity for more skullduggery while appearing more sanctimonius. It's just one more reason why they claim we should get rid of our Constitution.

Exactly, which liberals wanted to wait and see how everything played out before making rash decisions?

These two already smell so bad from the scandal (Billions in their coffers) they couldn't get any worse. It's no wonder they didn't want to go in on our side.

Of course! Not surprising. Annan backed his partners in crime (don't forget Russia either) Jacky and Gerry via bypassing sanctions and trading military weapons under the table to Hussein.

They should blame the whole thing on the "Vast International Right-Wing Conspiracy"

Time to create the new body for the new world- The AFN- Association of Free Nations.

United is out because we are not United- we remain sovereign. Association is a better word because we are simply choosing to associate.

"Free Nations" because that is the criteria for entry. There must be an elected government according to specific rules agreed to by the Charter Members. We can continue to meet and summit with un-free countries, like China, but not as a member of the AFN.

There is no headquarters or permanent staff, just rotating annual meetings.

Why aren't France and Germany's support for Annan surprising?

"The blood of American soldiers is on the hands of all three of these losers."

You are right about that. That is the greatest loss of this fiasco. We need to demand of our congressmen to pull out of the UN and boot the UN out of the US. I will not stand for my tax dollars to continue to go to this organization. I will stop paying taxes if it comes down to it.
