Look no further than the fall of France. Six weeks and they threw in the towel.

Every time I read one of these rants I think of how, if Kerry had won the election, people like this would be in position to wield power and influence the course of the nation and the world. This guy's delusional world view is shared by many in the democrat "leadership".

Instead of crying in his latte, this guy should get into his Honda hybrid and drive to his drumming group to get in touch with his inner child. Then he should schedule time with his therapist but plan on making a trip to Canada because his HMO has raised the price of his Prozac.

perhaps my great political ideas and judgmental postures can all be summed up in two words: sour grapes. I'm pissed off at the Republican party because I am failing at capitalism.

...instead of what I am now, occasionally selfish, constantly guilty.

A failed artist, unemployed gay male, who is ashamed to admit he is a secretary.

I guess that pretty well sums it up.

Gimme, gimme, gimme - disguised as "concern for others". Misery loves company. Thats why socialism always looks so good to these Neurotic Whiners.

"I'm a Loser, but there are lots of other losers, because the world isn't fair. Make the world fair, so I won't be a loser anymore".

"Daddy is too strict - I want my Mommy to kiss my booboo and make it better".

That's the simple version. The article mentioned in your citation fills in the details. That's also why one can never reason with this type. This isn't a treatable medical problem, it is a worldview problem.

Neurotic Disorders and Somatisation

Darwin was right, but that's not fair.

Good Afternoon All-

Wow! One is compelled to wonder how long it took to write this thing in the first place? I must admit that after a significant amount of word-by-word reading, I began to "scan" through the rest of the article. Just more of the same...

Can you imagine what it would be like to live inside THAT twisted and frightening mind everyday until you die?

What an exquisite example of ignoratio elenchi, i.e., unintentionally by one's own logic demonstrating the error of one's own argument, and, indeed, proving its opposite.

The interesting (and troubling) thing is that this guy's letter was a link from DU and presented there as something to be identified with. It really does sum up the "life's a bitch and then you die" philosophy, doesn't it?
