Gretchen, I'm sorry if it sounded like I was demanding you'd supply them yourself, you've done an excellent job as it is. I was just despairing in general over a, from the looks of things, lost opportunity for another Dubya cowboy hat pic! Lord knows you can't have to many of those. ;-) I looked for pictures myself of that occasion before posting, but, obviously, to no avail - or I would've posted them. So if I seemed a little unappreciative of your effort, I'm sorry. As always there can be difficulties getting the tone of a message across in plain print.

I'm a day late and a dollar short, but I'm just seeing this part of the thread. You are absolutely right. I've always maintained that this was the big difference between Bubba and GWB. GWB actually had some 'home training' as we used to call it, and loving parents. It is obvious, in his constant search for the limelight, that Bubba did not. If he were sure of himself as a man, as a human, Bubba would not need the approval of others.
Bubba would welcome a 3rd term because that's all he is. George W. Bush could take a defeat to Kerry and walk away a winner.
