I remember arguing with untold numbers of freepers who swore by him before this election based on Zog's own fallacious stats from the 2000 race.

We never argued, but I was one that relied on Zogby because of his past track record on this election. I just don't remember the fallacious stats from 2000?

He's now a proven loser!

"Arabs lie. It is natural for them. When they are caught, they lie some more."

Pssst .... watch out. I once expressed a very simlilar, very justifiable comment and was banned for 72 hours.

Zogby Polling Seeks Damage Control After Election Day Flub

You might find this thread interesting: From the Enough Monkeys and Enough Typewriters Department .

Zogby is all about protecting his image and he didn't wait until now to do image restoration, he was busy sponging right after the election. This was posted on his site November 4 and is still on his site: What happened to the 5:00 final of finals?

The most interesting thing I find in the 2004 Presidential election is that under close scrutiny and massive turnout the election turned for GW. Had there not been accurate voting systems and scrutiny in the form of one person, one vote, I feel we would have been disappointed on election night.

Any small semblance of Zogby being a non-partisan pollster are now gone. This was a risky move on his part and he is going to be sorry he took it. He better hope than the Dems need lots of pollsters because he will never get another dime from anyone in the industry seeking accurate non-partisan numbers

"We were told that if you were for one party, you would vote on one day, on November 2, but if you were the member of another party -- a party that over 88 percent of African Americans supported in this last election -- your day to vote was two days later," Shelton said."

And if, after decades of voting for that party you are still too stupid to know when election day is, you've been tricked alright - but not by the other party.

EVERYONE on election day was commenting on the exit polling sampling taking improperly balanced samples, especially oversampling women. (We don't know where else their methodology was wrong...but the results say that the POLLING was in error...and the early reports confirmed incompetent sampling design.)

This is a very good point. The conspiracists claim that the election results were the surprise when in actuality the media outlets were surprised by the exit polling data compared to their own sampling before any of the counting began. I guess you have to roll all of those main stream media folks into the conspiracy meat loaf too.

In a way, we have Drudge to thank for some of this exit poll mess for going public with the unfiltered exit polls as a news item.

Sabato also ridiculed the assertion by Zogby International that its exit polls were "uncharacteristically inaccurate" in 2004. "They have been characteristically inaccurate in 2000, 2002, 2004 -- wrong three times in a row and highly inaccurate," Sabato said.

The emperor has no clothes. Sabato slaps down Zogby! ROTFLMAO!

Shawnta Watson Walcott, communications director for Zogby International, joined a group of liberal Democrats at a faux congressional hearing focused on whether fraud influenced the Nov. 2 outcome.

"... it has become increasingly clear that this election has produced unprecedented levels of suspicion regarding its outcome, and we join this panel discussion in an attempt to find a resolution to these issues," said Walcott, who represented the firm's president and long time political pollster John Zogby at the forum sponsored by Democratic members of the House Judiciary Committee.

Did you see that Zogby's communication director attended that farce of a "hearing" yesterday and they are throwing in their lot with the kooks?

How disgusting. How distressing.

I suspect you're right. The whole line about restoring dignity and public confidence in the democratic process seems to be way out of line for what pollsters should be doing.

Pollsters should be giving legitimate results, not results they personally would like to see.

Thanks for posting all those individual state statistics from the famous Zog. As one can see, every state in the union would have to have participated in this so called fraud being alleged. My what a huge conspiracy.

We're suppose to believe that even though Kerry NEVER, ever was ahead in any of the national polls in the weeks prior to election day, that somehow on election day these exit polls showing him ahead were correct? And, that all the other pollsters showing Bush ahead were wrong? I think there needs to be an investigation in to how Zogby was trying to influence the election.

What happened in this election is the Silent Majority spoke. Those who just go to work everyday, heard all the hate being spewed by the left and determined to vote. The pollsters can't measure them. Zogby was attempting to influence the undecideds to vote for Kerry. They like to know who is going to win so they can vote right. The good people won.
