I guess he'll be meeting with the insurgents and will then come home and recommend we give in to them.

Why don't these politicians stay away and let these soldiers/marines do their jobs? They shouldn't have to burdened with extra protection for politicians during the middle of a war.

He loves the terrorists so much, maybe they could arrange guest quarters and a TV for him while he is there.

Last week, a group of senators, including Sen. Lincoln Chafee (news, bio, voting record), R-R.I., traveled to Iraq and found conditions far more dangerous than during a similar trip a year ago. Chafee described a frightening helicopter flight out of Baghdad as the aircraft weaved to avoid enemy fire

Actually, he was dodging the rats asking him to join the political arm of the KKK and the pubbies who were tryinbg to push him out of the chopper.

Three items:

1. Is he going to come back and tell stories about the atrocities of US service personnel?

2. I wonder how those troops he visits will react to "the wrong war at the wrong place at the wrong time." After not voting to fund the war, HE's the one who should be asked why the guys don't have the armor and equipment they need. The guy should be ashamed of himself, and,

3. Sounds like there might be some opportunities here. Iraq is a VERY dangerous place these days, and anything can happen...

What soldiers would meet with him? I guess they'll have to put together a coalition of bribed and coerced troops.

Hope he wears his medals...oops, I forgot, he threw them away.

Well, anyways, I hope he brings some of the $87 million dollar package with him so the boys can have some extra necessary equipment. Ooops, I forgot, he voted against that.

With this little announcement, we can now be certain as to where the setup that took place with Rummy the other day came from.

In addition to his Iraq trip, Kerry will take time during the holidays to host events in Massachusetts and Iowa in which he will thank his campaign supporters. He travels to Iowa on Friday.

I heard he had better be paying those camaign supporters. Some of them havent been paid since August.

What does Kerry expect to gain from this trip? What's his real agenda? Is he taking Tereeeeesa with him? Maybe he'll leave her there, or visa versa.

the Dems are making another move to bleed away public support for the iraq effort. This setup with the reporter and the soldier asking Rumsfeld the question about armored vehicles was the opening shot I think. To be honest, things aren't going so great in iraq, so the Dems see an opportunity to try and get public support below 50%. And the 1/30 election might not go that well, the Dems want to be ready to capitalize on that. you can expect Kerry to have arranged meetings with whatever soldiers they can find who are unhappy with various things - and the MSM to cover that.

They shouldn't have to burdened with extra protection for politicians during the middle of a war.

"Yes, Senator Kerry, all of our VIP guests wear this speical jacket. No, the round graphic on the back with the solid dot in the center is not a bulls eye, it is the Islamic symbol for world peace. Just wear it when you are outside."

I hope he does meet with the "insurgents". They have a tendency to return people in multiple pieces -- and I cannot think of a replacement for John F'ing Kerry that would be as far to the left as he is -- except maybe Marty "Taliban" Meehan.

There is enough 'unmitigated gall' to choke the whole stable and the guy is unreal to show his face there after everything he has said and done to the US military. Maybe he could take his tacky daughter and see if she is any more of a hit with his Muslim friends than she was here.

WHO is paying for this? The same people who paid for Hitlery to go? Yes, I'm sure New York needed their senator to visit Iraq. Probably should send the idiot from Boston just in case she missed something....

Maybe the troops will explain to the traitor how he's the wrong poseur in the wrong war at the wrong time.

Maybe Kerry will get new ideas for dealing with Islamofascists while he's there. Maybe he and Jane can fold origami birds of peace to drop from Kerry's airplane.

Or maybe F'in will just crawl aound on his belly for a while looking for terrorists, "Hey, Abu, can I get me a huntin' license?"

I'm sure the world will be a better place after Kerry's visit. Next Kerry should visit Amsterdam.

Bon Voyage! Is TahRayZaa going too?

Sens. 'Bullkhead' Kerry and 'Bullworth' exchange pleasantries.

Former presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites), D-Mass., left talks with 2004 Kennedy Center honoree, actor Warren Beatty (news), right, as they arrive for the gala performance at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004. Recipients honored at this year's 27th Kennedy Center Honors are actor, producer, writer and director Warren Beatty; husband-and-wife actors, writers and producers Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee; singer and composer Elton John (news); soprano Joan Sutherland; and composer and conductor John Williams. He must be thinking of running in 2008. This is the first time he'll have visited Iraq. Numerous Senators have made numerous trips there already. Not like it matters since Kerry has a bad record when it comes to military funding and weapons systems. Maybe he can explain his vote against the $87 billion to the troops while over there. Maybe the media can have that soldier handy to ask Kerry about it?

Exactly how is this waste of time and money supposed to help the mis/unrepresented constituents of Massachusetts?

He was a monumental failure as a Navy Officer, then an ineffective if not totally useless prosecutor, then a completely useless Senator and finally a walking, breathing joke as a Presidential candidate. What is the Kerry team thinking will come of this besides photo ops.

This is just a precursor folks, this asshole is going to try to run again in four years.
