Democratic radio response focuses on Ohio presidential vote

UNDATED Democrats say they want to make sure every vote was counted in last month's presidential election -- especially in Ohio.

The Democratic National Committee has formed a panel to look into possible voting problems in the Buckeye state, which President Bush won by more than 100-thousand votes.

In the party's weekly radio address, Democratic operative Donna Brazile says there's no place in democracy for faulty equipment, untrained poll workers, long lines and "any forms of chads." She's referring to the bits of paper that came off some of Florida's punch-card ballots in the 2000 presidential election.

Brazile chairs the D-N-C's Voting Rights Institute. She says there's too much disparity between rich and poor communities when it comes to reliable voting systems.

Be sure to bring this up in casual conversation.

"Hey, how about those Dems, huh? Still pushing for a recount in Ohio. Boy, they never give up do they?"

Make them sound like sore losers without actually calling them such.

There should be a price for this sort of undermining of our voting system, help them pay it.

The libs are now totally psycho over the lost election. They have rationalized themselves into believing the vote count in Ohio will give them the win.watch the suicide rate to increase before January .

The football team that focuses on the refs and the score keeper after losing game after game for 12 years rather than what's wrong with the players and coaches will continue to lose.

Now why didn't they feel this way about California in 2000? California didn't count absentee ballots because (they said) it would have been a statistical impossibility for Bush to have won the state.

Methinks that this entire exercise doth stink to high heaven.

The vote margin in Florida went from 538 to ove 300,000. Looking for a similar result in Ohio in '08 as the 'rats write off another battleground state.

Just what counting methods does the Democratic Party approve of?

They seem to have a problem with every one I can think of. Diebold machines (which manufacture nearly every financial ATM) because you can't get a print receipt; hole punch card machines because of chads; and scanning machines because of undervotes related to unconnected lines.

Maybe we should just go back to X marks the spot. But what if a voter misses the box?

This is just getting crazy.

Donna gets the Chutzpah award for the past year.

This is the lady who coordinated vote stealing for Clinton in minority urban areas in two Presidential elections!

I guess since the statute of limitations has probably run on those crimes she figures she can afford to be brazen. :-(

Good idea. I want to know why President Bush didn't win by 200-thousand votes.

Look at the Dems "big issue" and then look at the President's. The Dems look backward AGAIN, focusing on a race they LOST. President Bush looks FORWARD, forcusing on a real issue...Social Security and how to keep it on track for the years ahead. And the Dems call themselves Progessive????
I think not!!!

Would be funny if it wasn't true. I mean probably 20 million of those Rat voters didn't know either VP , let alone many of the issues . ;-/
