Oh well, Ive seen plenty of amazing celestial events.

In central OK, clear as a bell, temp is 34 heading down to the teens. I've seen a few meteors, one earthgrazer.

I want to know where I can register a complaint about the best meteor showers being late in the year. I want to put in a request to have them in spring and summer.

the best part of the show is just beginning. By 2:00AM ET it should be at its peak overhead.

Saw a couple around 10:30 PM here on the Jersey coast, one was pretty bright - I didn't think much of it because I will see one every now and again when I go out for my evening walk. We have a beautiful clear night here, so I'll have to pop outside a little later to check things out. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for the reminder! I went out for about 10 minutes and saw 5, including one pretty bright, slow one. From here they seem to be emanating from either Orion or the area around the Pleiades (sp?).

I'm too old and its too cold, But I stepped out for a smoke and saw five of the boogers.

Four short, one long. Seemed to come more from Orion than Gemini.
