It's pretty good, but not as good as their old stuff, IMO. But it is nice to have Bruce Back. I saw them live last year and they were great!

DANCE OF DEATH (2003)

Absolutely NO radio play in Chicago!

Eddie, my love! The most recent tour shirt I have of Maiden says "Give me Ed till I'm dead". Get a lot of strange looks with that one. :)

Gene wouldn't even bother...he'd just dart his tongue out, slap the guy's hand, guy drops the weapon. Problem solved.

Dance of Death. That was it. I blanked. No radio play here either and I like the album. But I've given up on radio play, if you are on a smaller label, it doesn't happen since the smaller labels can't pay the "play money".

I love everything up until Senventh Son of a Seventh Son, after that, it get's a bit hit-and-miss for me.

LOL! That's an image. Gene Simmons: "My tongue is a deadly weapon".

Dave Murray and Adrian Smith had the best melodic dual guitar solos.

What's your favorive Maiden song?

The Trooper:

Agree totally, but I'm not even really that fond of Seventh Son. I do like Dance of Death, but not much in between. A few songs here and there, but I don't have those CD's in my Maiden rotation.

"Die with your boots on" and "flight of Icarus". Icarus saved my a$$ in High School Latin since we had to translate it for our final. I knew enough of the story from the song to fake it. :)

At that time (1988) Metallica had released ...And Justice For All. Not one of my favs and seems to be the turning point for mainstream heavier metal.

I can see that. I like early Mettalica. LOVE NWOBHM stuff, but by the late 80's it seems everything was being overproduced. It lacked the rawness of the earlier stuff.

I don't want to start another war with 'how evil metal is'. No flaming, go find some other thread if you are not interested,. Another psycho loose.

One thing. Does this guy have any satanic oriented album covers? Even though Jimmy Page mucked about with Aleister Crowley, even bought his old mansion and lived there, Led Zep was never foolish enough to put satanic jive on it's album covers.

Page bought and lives in the house Aleister Crowley once owned in Scotland on the Loch Ness. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0656211/bio

I doubt rob's stalker will want to kill him, just bend him over and bust a few buttons on his leather pants.

I'm surprised he was in Israel and singing on the Sabbath. I thought they had laws against that.

Haifa is in the secular part of Israel near Tel Aviv. Also lots of Arabs there.
Sabbath is much more serious business in Jerusalem.
