It's one thing to get hit while in the heat of battle...its another to pull death to your body to save others from it...a true hero.

Peralta, 25, an immigrant from Mexico who enlisted the day he got his green-card work permit...

Based on what the FR Buchanan Brigades say, this can't be true as no one good comes from Mexico.

Of course the truth is Peralta was more of an American than many of those who are born in the United States.

I would probably say San Diego....

but that could also be where he was deployed from and not actually where he lived....

In a modest home in a blue-collar neighborhood here, the Peralta family feels pride but also grief, anger and confusion.




Right after I posted the previous, I found this line....its San Diego....
