What kind of a nut would write something so obviously false?
The religion of the Bugs and Bunny crowd has indoctrinated... er.... taught us otherwise. The world, and all processes therein are fixed, static and immutable. No changes allowed, that's what Gaia says.

No temperature fluctuations allowed.
The number of hurricanes each year shall be the same.
No days allowed too hot or too cold.

Species never disappear.
Lakes never die.
Rivers never change their courses.

There is a group of morons in South America as we speak, reminding us of all these laws of the universe.

The same group met in Kyoto a while back and introduced the word "Kyoto" as am expensive joke, albeit unwittingly.
So what if the only possible result is bringing the U.S. culture and economy down to the level of the socialists, the bankrupt, the incompetent?

That's the whole idea!

Yes, but these be scientists, you see. Friends of whales. Why some of their best friends . . . and so on.

They wear white coats. They have pocket protectors. They rent really expensive boats and always have lots of other people's money. They are to be believed - if they are to be believed.

On might might prefer fact, retained by reason, revealed by faith. Anyhow.
