FWIW, during the 60's and 70's, the chemical companies performed LD-50 testing on rabbits, rats, and monkeys using 2378 TCDD (the agent orange dioxin)....but it would be unethical to perform these experiments on humans.......(LD-50 is the dose that is required to kill 50% of the "parcipitants", and the dosages required to kill 50% of these animals was very high compared to body-burdens of known-exposed Vietnam Vets and Vietnamese.
Dioxin victims die of a variety of "other" diseases, long after the exposure........just as HIV exposed people die of "other" diseases. HIV and Dioxin are merely antigens, as many things are. You can decide about apples and oranges, because that is over my head, LOL.
Dioxin (2378 variety, at least) should be thought of as a mutagen, just as HIV is.......simple "exposure" and uptake of either is not lethal......it is the physiological dynamic that begins at exposure that becomes lethal......exposure-dose-dependent in the case of Dioxin, but probably not with HIV.
Immune responses (to a variety of antigens) can and do initiate tumors. Yuschenko's long-term prognosis is not good, in fact he is lucky to have survived to date.
The problem with such a strategy is that nobody would be able to tell that the Hildibeast had been disfigured.

Let's see. There is no known fatality from dioxine, but the KGB, who has access to all the various poisons, including exotic ones that are lethal, and chooses to use dioxine and are so stupid, that they adminster it to Yushchenko right at his dinner withe Ukrainian secret service.

I hope he gets elected so that I could enjoy seeing all the south and east of Ukraine leave to form a separate republic. Oh ya sure its all talk, all propoganda they are all morons and do not know whom they are voting for. (sarcasm) You just watch and see I m betting at the very least 4 regions will leave if he gets elected. Thats bare minimum. Anyone read on Ukranian ecconomic crisis developing lately? its because those regions stopped sending tax reciepts since the election...
Perhaps they didn't know exactly what the lethal dose was, or they screwed up in giving him the dose.
Or maybe they merely wanted to prevent him from running for office, not kill him outright. After all, if they killed him, another candidate would run in his place, and would have sympathy from the voters. They might have thought just injuring him (and making him ugly) might have been the better move. And they might have thought if he received a fatal dose of poison, the autopsy would show it, and they would be outed--whereas if he remained alive, the evidence might disappear before doctors could collect it (of course this is false; it's been stored in his fat cells).

INTERPOL REVIEWS TIMOSHENKO CASE
Interpol is reviewing additional information provided by Russia about Yulia Timoshenko, a leader of the Ukrainian opposition (led by Viktor Yushchenko), a statement from Interpol's Secretariat General said.
The statement stressed that in the Timoshenko case, Interpol was not guided by political motives.
Russia's Chief Military Prosecutor Alexander Savenkov told journalists that the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office sent a response to the Interpol inquiry about Ms. Timoshenko. He said it concerned a criminal case and that the decision to file a criminal case against Timoshenko was made earlier.
He said that the case involved bribing five officers from the Defense Ministry's Central Directorate of Financial Resources and Foreign Economic Relations. "This was proved," he said, "there is direct evidence." The bribes were given in order to purchase building materials that cost $80 million in excess.

The Old English spelling of his name is Ralle -- but Harvard has it has Kalle.

If Yushchenko had died, nobody would be discussing his dinner with the Ukrainian state security head and his assistant. All murderers look stupid after they are caught.

That's my point, what good is a living, functioning, "martyered" opponent? Yushchenko's opponents don't get anything but he now earns the martyer vote and is able to enjoy it. Just as likely his own people administered it to him for the "effect".

Crazy or power mad? Or just desperate. He was ousted by Parliment in 2001 as Prime Minister after selling off state assets at a fire sale to the IMF/Soros group and bringing Eastern Ukraine (from which most of those sales accured) to the brink of civil war. This gives him that edge.
Add to this a lust to get into power, the pressure to come up with an edge, after already being dumped by parliment from prime ministership and having the IMF/Soros/Albright crew as your backers, anything is possible. The truth is buried right along side the 100,000 dead Albanians.
Except for the fact that no one has ever died from Dioxin. Other then that little fact...
Considering that liberal will have the backing of Soros, just like Yushchenko (and the greens, socialists, communists, EU, UN crowd)
