Firstly, the assasins did not think Yushchenko would live. Secondly, they operated in an environment where, until recently, they could have put a bullet in his head on broadcast television and successfully avoided prosecution.

They have access to poisons that are 100% sure to kill and leave no trace but instead chose a poison that leaves finger prints all over the body and best of all has ZERO known fatalities. Better yet, chenge it to Hillary, and make the scenario one where a White House aide is shot in the head, where security camera tapes mysteriously dissappear, and where a "suicide" is so crudely staged that the victim's car arrives after the victim is discovered. Unbelieveable? Incompetent? But good enough to get away with it.

You're talking about the guy (name escapes me) who had an affair with Hitlery and was part of Whitewatergate? His car arrived after the "suicide"? Really? Damn that's one of those details I didn't know. I know the FBI pilfered the guy's house and took away a lot of evidence that was never again seen.
