I'm really sorry about your mother and step father and their 'humanness' as opposed to 'copness' really hit home with me when I saw you interviewed on TV.
However, the irony and tragedy of the event is that they were police officers and not civilians. If I had been walking around with an alcohol level that high or had rode a motorcycle into a bar full of cops I would have not only been arrested but I would have had my butt kicked.
In this case it appears that your mom's brothers and sisters in blue or black as they dress in Austin did not have your mom's back. That is a shame and not only is it a tragedy that your mother and step father died but that the bar owner lost his license because too many cops thought that they were above the law.
