The only reason Greta gets ratings is because she follows O'Reilly and Hannity people like me don't change the channel because there isn't anything else on ..

That's just not true. When Greta was on CNN she had the second highest rated show ... she was a prize that Fox signed. You may not like her show but many do.

the trend shows that each one of them has gone down

People don't want news or politics anymore, they just want to get on with their lives and I agree. I barely watch Hannity anymore.

And this is a good thing.

How does crap like Shepard Smith, Hannity, O'Reilly and Greta beat Brit Hume and Cavuto? This is nuts. Are Cavuto and Hume counted in the ratings books?

Shepard Smith sucks and blows, simultaneously, and Hannity is just the same lame 6 talking points day after day, year after year.

Rush would be doing a one hour show in the timeslot before Larry so the coattail effect would increase ratings for Larry King Live.

You still don't get it. Fire Larry. Put Rush on at Larry's old time slot.

Olberman should go back to doing the weather, or whatever he was doing before he got his current job. The guy is flat out annoying.

It must come down to the timeslot they are in. Brit Hume and Neil Cavuto are also my favorites on FoxNews. I actually like just about everyone who hosts a show or is a FoxNews contributor, even Alan Colmes. Alan is better than Paul Begala or James Carville any day.

The biggest mistake MSNBC ever made in terms of their programming lineup-and that is quite a statement by itself-was folding under the pressure of a fringe sexual identity clique, and firing Michael Savage.

To think this doofus is doing political commentary is hysterical when you think about it.

This will be a minority opinion here, but I like Larry King even though he's on the other end of the political spectrum on most issues. On Larry's show no matter what your politcal background or beliefs you get a chance to state your case without someone yelling over you which is the direction so many other shows on TV and radio have gone.

I've been listening to Larry King from way back when he was on radio each evening.

He's childish and boring and very anti-GOP.

I liked Hannity on the radio but he clearly likes his fame.
His allegiance to John McCain is annoying. He will not tolerate any critical callers of his so called "friends" many
who are of extreme left.

I like Brit Hume. No numbers for his show?

Let MSNBC stick with Chris Matthews and last place. I like their format but they have to get rid of the dead wood liberals.

Matthews is watchable...as entertainment.

Then again, bear-baiting would probably make a pretty interesting reality TV program.

So there you go.

Why is it none of them will list Lou Dobbs? Why has CNN taken him off of CNNfn? Could it be he has the best Conservative show on TV?

For a liberal, Alan Colmes seems like an ok guy. Frankly, I'd rather watch Colmes than Sean Hannity, who's basically a sockpuppet for the RNC and seems to have little capacity for debate beyond a high-school level.

Would you rather he was a sock puppet for the DNC ? Hannity worked hard to help get Bush re-elected.

Sean is outstanding on radio and TV with room for improvement, especially in debate tactics and strategy, but he always comes prepared with the facts and with his passion for conservative principles, ideas and values.

And yes he outworked everyone, including those in the George W. Bush 2004 campaign, to get our President re-elected.

Sean on the last weekend before the election - Dallas, Boston, Orlando, Jacksonville, Pensacola, Columbus OH, Cincinnati, Dayton, Akron/Youngstown, Erie PA, Harrisburg PA.

If you take away everything Sean did from January 2004 through election day we are preparing for the innauguration of John Kerry. Many others had a hand in the team effort, but no one worked harder than our "great American", Sean Hannity.
