Want to know which companies support your political agenda? BuyBlue.org wants "blue" voters to support those companies which they have dubbed "blue", according to various criteria, including which candidates/agendas they support. They list red and blue companies of all sorts, including retail shopping, clothing, "spirits", restaurants, hotels, airlines, oil and gas, grocery, holiday-related", entertainment and technology.
I want to thank them for spelling out in such detail which companies I, as a conservative, should not support. We can use their lists to support the "red" companies this Christmas season.
Visit the site, and see their lists...I doubt I should actually post them here!
Feel free to pass this information on to your friends via e-mail.
Oh, and "Merry Christmas!!!!"

Dear Bed Bath & Beyond,
Frankly, it does not matter to me if a company donates to one political party or the other. Sometimes there are valid reasons for this other that partisan politics.
But what I don't like is when businesses politicize themselves as you have by including yourself on a "Shop Blue" shopping list website.
I was actually just heading out to do some Christmas shopping at your store. But since you decided to be this "blue" list, I will shop elsewhere. And that's too bad. I really do like shopping at your store.
Best Regards,

Is there a way to tell to whom the donations were actually made?
This list may be misleading because some of these firms may have been "paying to play" if the cash was funneled to local candidates/organizations
For example, I was involved in company that would have been listed 100% RAT in 2000. We were all libertarian or conservative but we needed something to happen in San Francisco (i.e. Willie Brown) and so the appropriate donations were made.
I have it on good authority that this is also the case with Gallo wines.

I did my duty and let them know how thankful I am that they have provided me a list of companies to avoid. I put my e-mail address on there out of curiousity to see if they will send me some nasty-gram :o)

They forgot to mention Sams Club, I know its associated with Walmart but they are afraid of the impact it would have on Costco.

I wonder why oldmedia hasn't mentioned the sales losses Target must be facing.
