Someone suspicious of a 'new' baby's arrival when the supposed mother wasn't actually pregnant? Amazing, any way the baby's recovery happened. A Christmas miracle. Sad that her mom was murdered, but she's in God's hands for sure.

It never amazes me how incompetent the cops can be:
"Baby cut from womb found alive by police"
It was right there by the police this whole time???

Actually, the incredible part is that initial reports were of a fetus cut from a woman's womb. And now the police say they have found a baby? Pretty inept crew, if you ask me.

Don't forget this is Skidmore, MO, in Nodaway County. This is the same town where a guy was shot about 50 times in broad day light, and no one saw the shooters.
Good bird hunting. Don't cross ther locals.

See, when it was assumed the missing item would likely not be found or would not survive, it was merely a fetus. But now that it has been found and is alive, it has magically transformed into a baby. Amazing how that happens.

But I'm thinking a kidnapping charge is really out of the question. I don't think you could hit them with anything worse than a Failed Abortion.

Whoever did this should be ripped limb from limb by wild horses. JMHO Too good for 'em.
How about a little "hunt" with ground rules. Only relatives of the woman or her husband can take part. Nothing more powerful than a 30-30 or 7.62x39. No expanding bullets, FMJ only. (Must observe the Hague Convention). No medical treatment for the perps. Perps to wear Kevlar helmets and modified ballistic armor, just over the heart to prevent a "clean kill". Gut or lung shots encouraged.
On second thought. Bow and arrow, no broad heads, but still with the armor.

Baby cut from womb found alive by police
This is heartening news.
I don't want to get too theological...but even if the worst had happened, the
child would have gone on to a better place (IMHO).
(I''m just a little reflective as I recall that the preacher John McArthur said he
was on a panel with a number of other preachers...and they seemed to be clueless about
the traditional/accepted Christian view of what happens to infants/children that
perish while on this earth.)

Isn't it amazing that the existence of a crime is determined by the mother's intentions, not what the criminal did? Had a doctor ripped it out of the mother with the mother's permission, it would have been legal. Instead, because the mother wanted the baby, it is kidnapping. You are right, the guy is guilty of practicing medicine without a license, and operating without permission, that's all.

Graves would not give a motive for the crime. How about an evil woman who coveted someone else's baby?

I hope this child NEVER has to know the truth about how it was born.
