Saddam bids to challenge case in the US
LONDON (AFP) - Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) is preparing a legal challenge in the United States to his trial for war crimes, a newspaper reports, citing leaked papers prepared by his defense team.
Clive Stafford Smith, a British human rights lawyer, has prepared a 50-page brief which contains advice to take the case to US courts to ensure he receives a fair trial, the Sunday Times reported after saying it had seen the document. there's more here @ Free Republic... and here Free Republic Post ...
The lawyers for Saddam Hussein are preparing to turn his trial into the Circus of the Century: Saddam bids to challenge case in the US.
Its no surprise to discover that Clive Stafford-Smith is a beneficiary of the George Soros Foundation.
Ungh - wouldn't even want to think about that one.
Fix title please :)
mebbe saddam's layer is really a chicken?
THANKS for fixing typo.
I always think that the best way to deal with dictators is to let his own people bring him to trial in their own country as soon as he falls from office, and give the dictator a death penalty. And do it the same day as the verdict.
Your tagline really struck me, if we don't mobilize early to force the theives in congress to implement W's SS reforms and tax reform and tort reform we my as well have elected JFK this time around. What do you think?
Well imagine that!
Yep, four years period is not that long. God knows what will happen after that. I agree with agenda you mention. Plus the Supreme Court thing and preventing US from terror attacks. Those are about all W should concentrate on.
Thank you for taking the time to place that post. I
cannot help but wonder: how deep is the connection between Hussein, Soros, MoveOn.org and the DNC?
All four have some very anti-American tendencies?
What a shock. A terrorist/murderer/dictator's lawyer is connected to someone who hates George W. Bush. I'm shocked, I say.
