I heard that PORT is the drink of the French Navy.
The Woodford Reserve plant is very near where I live. Thanks for supporting the local economy! LOL Seriously though, it's a VERY fine product. You ought to consider visiting the area sometime and touring their visitor's center.
Johnnie Walker Red, Molson Canadian, Stolychnya Vodka, Grand Marnier, Bailey's, Kahluha, Talea Amaretto Cream, Peppermint Schnapps, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo red wine.........I'm all set.
I'll be drinking egg nog and hot apple cider.
Alcohol is bad for my health. It causes my body to be thrown in jail.
Aberlour - single highland malt
Bergey's Egg Nog with a splash of Maker's Mark and a fresh grinding of nutmeg. Nothing better has been invented yet, IMO.
It is my understanding that to be called 'bourbon', it must be aged in the barrel a minimum of 4 years. Those aged longer say so on the label. Since Jack Black Label no longer states its age, I presume it's only 4 years old, and I prefer Ezra Brooks or Evan Williams, both of which are aged for 8 years, and are much less expensive than Jack Black Label. They're also sour mash varieties and taste just fine without being 'cheap'.
Where's the filling?
I am telling you, Marine, I think we are kindred spirits (no pun intended!)
I am planning to get some Bushmills and some Jamesons soon for gifts!
There is no welfare in Jamacia so I do my best to keep as many of my Rastafarian brothers employed as possible.
I save my drinking(against doctors advice) for New Years Eve and the 4th of July.
I'm a big fan of Guiness but I have two beloved children in recovery and so all family get togethers will be dry from respect for them.
Maybe I'll drink lemonade. We got lots and lots of lemons from our produce co-op. Sorry. I don't drink alcohol. LOL!
Quite possibly.
I take a nip now and then but I have a security clearance for my job and have to be VERY VERY careful NOT to have an alcohol related incident.
DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER!
Try a "hot out of the oven" chocolate chip cookie with your single malt.
The combination of tastes is incredible.
Having already drunk my lifetime supply of Kessler's Whiskey, I'm gonna stick with Diet Pepsi in the afternoon and coffee in the morning.
Hey I might even remember Christmas.
