Every American citizen and every foreign worker in America is required to have a Social Security card.

One more good reason to end Social Screw-urity. ID Card? I don't need no stinkin' ID Card.

I've given in to the idea. Our drivers license used to work just fine. But with all of the illegals using them, it's not a true identification card. Most people wouldn't carry a passport. I see no other way. The fear is having this card accessed by illegals.

I'm not going to agree to it unless it's REQUIRED at every polling place in this country.

We already have one. SSN is on everything. Drivers' licenses are required for everything, too. Who can fight all the "requirements" imposed for no good reason on a daily basis? It's ridiculous trying to climb uphill all the time.

If I can't force my neighbor to accept a number I personally want to issue to him, my agent in government has no authority to do that either. Principal & Agent. Think about it.

The only reason to have a national ID card is so that the government can open the borders completely. Then when there is massive migration north from the South American countries, and the nonnationals entering our country need services, they can identify those who have to foot the bill and make them pay-- the US citizen!

The idea that ANY type of identification would thwart terrorism doesn't make sense. We were able to identify all of the 9/11 terrorist. True, they may have been half way through their "virgins" before we could definitively identify them all, but so what? What good does that do us? How would national ID cards stop future terrorist that presently live in the US from inflicting harm?

Yes! Let's propose and debate a national ID card, instead of doing something more worthwhile: enforcing border security and immigration laws.

Their going to ram it down our throats and there won't be anything we can do about it.

It will be tacked on as a rider on a "must pass" bill, voted on at 3 am, without discussion.

Then send them all home at the next election. Make sure they know they lose all our votes if they pass this NWO crap.

If the government ever "leaked" this biometric info to the private sector... and we know the government never has problems with "leaking" information... can you imagine the increase in telemarketing harrassment? blah.
