Err America has been clucking about this.
Expect them to just never bring it up again.

Specialist Wilson is either a conniving jerk or an ignorant dupe.
In either case, I am delighted that he is being made to look like a total fool.

SHOCKING...I wonder how fast Chuck Hagel will rush to Rumsfeld's defense now. But he better watch out. John McCain may run him over getting to the cameras.
And I've got some swampland in Arizona to sell you, too.
To: timtoews5292004
Well of course it won't be reported by CBS/ABC/NBC/NYT it doesn't go with their prime-time reality show program: "Running Rumsfeld Out on A Rail".

Or a plant by the reporter he escorted in, according to Drudge.
To: Nagilum
Not that you give a Shiite Muslim about the FACTS, Nagilum, but maybe someone else might:
"Thomas Wilson said to Rumsfeld, quote, 'our vehicles are not armored, we do not have proper armament vehicles to carry with us north,' into Iraq." But, Hume relayed, "according to senior Army officers, about 800 of the 830 vehicles in Wilson's Army regiment, the 278th Calvary, had already been up-armored" at the time of his widely publicized question.
To: timtoews5292004
It all started off with the MSM not reporting everything Rumsfeld said on the subject.

You know... come to think of it... 0% of our hummers were armored when I was in Somalia. I think I will complain to Clinton.

He opened his big mouth, and stuck in both feet. Don't feel sorry for him one bit. I guess his 15 minutes of fame is over.

Specialist Wilson is either a conniving jerk or an ignorant dupe.A little of both, I fear. He has since claimed that the questions were his idea and not the reporter - a fool trying to act wise.

That's when all the unarmored vehicles came-to-be in our military, under clinton.

So Rumsfeld was set up. I would like to know who got to Specialist Wilson. I just don't believe that he came up with that crap on his own.

If the Armor works the terrorists will just plant bigger bombs. Armor isnt the answer, The answer is for the citizens of these places to start tipping off our folks about where they are planted, Until then they are just as guilty as those planting them.
To: timtoews5292004
The MSM lied in favor of our enemies.
In other news; sun may rise in the east tomorrow.

As he's not a regular but a National Guard or Reservist, I doubt he'll care very much about any promotion.

Not only that, according to Brit, 20 of those remaining 30 were in the shops being up-armored.
