You're right on point here. When the main stream media claim "they just report,they don't make the news" this can be held up as a prime example to refute that claim. As others have written, had this been US troops it would be on the 6 o'clock news for a month.
That's a fact.
Their love, devotion and admiration for the U.N. is only matched for their past love of the USSR and 'soviet' communism. And like the commie apologists would say, "well, you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet."
It's the same with the U.N. - the 'greater good' is all that matters to these 'twits'1.

Because to cover such stories would involve attacking the god they worship.
If the allegations are true, the situation is worse than Abu Ghraib by several orders of magnitude: the UN's child rape-porno conspiracy cannot seriously be compared to making some terrorist wear a panty on his head.
