I hate to say this, but I'll believe it when I see it. I support the President in almost everthing, except his immigration/border control policies.The USA will never be secure until we control our borders.

I'm a strong believer in Prayer. Over the years I've asked for prayers for a couple of my Grandchildren. Isaiah and Breanna. Both are fine now thanks mostly to the prayers of Family, Friends and Freepers. Thank you all again.
This week I was informed that I have Cancer of the Esophagus. I won't go into the details except to say I have a good team of Doctors working with me. The Coach of my team is the Great Physician and I trust him completely.
They are hoping for complete remission after treatment of chemotherapy and radiation. Surgery may be an option later on, but it isn't now.
I am literally half the man I was a year ago, I have lost between 70 and 80 pounds, but some of that can be attributed to being diagnosed late last year with diabetes.

SALUTE,Sgt Sublett !
MilitiaMan7: The light and salvation of the Great Artificer of the universe embrace you Brother.
Ecclesiastes 12:1-7
1Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth,
Before the difficult days come,
And the years draw near when you say,
"I have no pleasure in them":
2While the sun and the light,
The moon and the stars,
Are not darkened,
And the clouds do not return after the rain;
3In the day when the keepers of the house tremble,
And the strong men bow down;
When the grinders cease because they are few,
And those that look through the windows grow dim;
4When the doors are shut in the streets,
And the sound of grinding is low;
When one rises up at the sound of a bird,
And all the daughters of music are brought low.
5Also they are afraid of height,
And of terrors in the way;
When the almond tree blossoms,
The grasshopper is a burden,
And desire fails.
For man goes to his eternal home,
And the mourners go about the streets.
6Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed,
Or the golden bowl is broken,
Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain,
Or the wheel broken at the well.
7Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,
And the spirit will return to God who gave it.
God Bless
Godspeed
May God be with you & your family.
Rest in Peace, Militiaman
Prayers for him and his family. I don't think I was on many threads that he was on, but I did see his postings about his cancer, etc., and I have prayed for him before. Now he's home.
May his family take comfort in knowing that he's in a better place.
Oh......I'm so sorry to hear this. He will be really missed.
I looked for the obit today. He was a tireless worker for a better America and the finest Christian gentleman. He is celebrating with the Savior tonight.
".....Prayers out to his family and friends in this Christmas season...."

Your dad's a good egg. I know how much he helped with the Free Republic efforts. Doesn't surprise me to find out that a number of other organizations will also be missing his help too. That's a common thing I've seen over the years. Those that are very giving, you only know a small part of it. At the funeral or viewing, you find out that you only knew a piece of it and you wonder, how did they manage to do all that?
This is a shock! May he RIP and he will be missed.
Godspeed my FRiend.
Your post shows how very quickly this happened. The best thing I can say about this is that it appears it he didn't suffer very long.
Prayers for our Lord's Comforting Presence to Abide with his family.
Someone who doesn't fear for what's to come, because he already knows that he's made his peace with God.
This is very sad news.

May your father Rest In Peace. Hope you and your family get through the Holidays OK.
PING for a brother.
My condoleances and prayers for a good man, his family and friends!
