We watched the Passion last nite. My 15 year old daughter wanted to see it.
My second time....I still cried during the flaying...whew....and I rarely cry....very rarely.
I still think the most important line in the movie is when Christ tells Mary: "Don't worry, I make all things new" (paraphrased).
The lines from Matthew (?) that Abe Foxman so disliked are included in the VCR version I saw. Surprised me.
Wow I think we just had thread crossover :o)
I used to do Boxing Day with my JA girlfriend.
Bullshots and Bloody Marys.....man, they can drink down there.
Which lines were omitted?
(I can count on one hand the times I've cried. But at The Passion I sat and bawled, even after the movie was over. It was strange, I suddenly realized I was bawling in the middle of the movie.)
Drinking... good grief yes. My mom is glad she doesn't have to entertain male relatives as much as she used to.
Pray for W and Our Troops
That alone would have been worth the price of a movie to have seen.
It was a major distraction to be sure... but many there were glad he did it. Of course... he had to go then.
Yes. Urban barbarians.
they don't call them Woody for nothing.
Jesus. How much did all that cost you?

People shouldn't be forced to shut up because they fear you might shoot them. Neither should they fear shushing people because they might get jumped in the parking lot. Carrying should be a shield, not a sword.
That's why I don't go to theaters frequented by ignorants.
It had to be either Polar Express or Fat Albert.
I've only gone to those art house type theaters lately...
there all you have to deal with is self-impressed liberal people laughing at EVERY joke, and it seems even more so at lame jokes.
"Like the forced laughter of a million art house movie patrons"~~Futurama
The last time I went to a "major" theater someones kid was crying as people were seated...thankfully not during the movie though. But what amused me was some computer geek looking guy trying to be tough as he said "get a babysitter." But not loud enough for them to hear, because he probably would have had his ass handed to him.
sad thing is you practically have to be armed or one heck of a brawler just to ASK people to be quiet. Too many dirtbags out there.
That's why we don't go and...who wants to pay those prices to watch the dumb bimbo movie stars and the guys who think the are somebody. No movies for us.
