Why don't you read my post #3, where I give credit to Dixie.
Suggest you also read my post 15 for additional explanation.
I think your pestering the AM-s was what got the other thread locked.
Today must be Whiner Day.

There have been at least 5 explosions since the initial explosion at 8pm. Police reported looting at 8:30 at a shopping center nearby that was damaged. at least 5 housefires also
Initial rescuers were told to pull back because of further explosions.
You are told to GTF out of the area, and keep windows rolled up due to possibility of toxic gas. explosion felt near vianne, some 35 miles away.
If you are needing help or looking for a relative go to the 'old' homeland near G Streets and Independence Avenue by a christian church.
people are having hard time breathing and again possible toxic gas in the air GTF out of town or air seal your house.
Explosion demolished the building that was over 100 yards and was felt 5-10 seconds after it was seen from other side of town,

Just for reference:
Lakeland Shopping center- where the fire is reported...is about 8-10 blocks from the scene of the explosion. Apparently debris from the explosion caused the fire there.
Several houses close to the plant were on fire.
Some type of chemical smell. The local channels are telling them to seal up their houses and tape the windows.
Lots of windows blown out in a lot of houses.
NO real wind in the area. There is a real fear of a secondary explosion.
To: judicial meanz
Don't know if that's good new or bad....If there was a wind it would disperse the chemicals over a larger area, but it would also make it less concentrated.

KTUL 8 Tv:
Muskogee General Hospital reports 5 minor injuries from area residents, not workers at the plant.
Still not all workers at plant have been accounted for.
No toxic risks from fire.

Plant processes scrap metal in numerous ways, at this particular plant they make 800 pound 'inkets'? I dont' know what that is its what the news just said.

Its not my grandmother that lives there, it was another poster's. I do have several friends from the area as my college is located in neighboring Tahlequah. I haven't been able to get ahold of anybody from muskogee yet however.
