Just found this on the web it appears that George Bush is left handed.
****
Famous left-handers:
Oprah, General Norman Schwarzkopf, Paul Williams, Peter Benchley, Robert DeNiro, Shirley MacLaine, George Bush, Ross Perot, President Bill Clinton, Larry Bird, Reggie Jackson, Pele, Martina Navratilova, Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Gerald Ford, Forrest Sawyer, Marcia Clark, Ted Koppel, Billy Graham, Phil Collins, Paul McCartney, George Michael, Whoopi Goldberg, Jay Leno, Carol Burnett, Richard Dreyfuss, Robert Redford, Bruce Willis, Bruce Jenner.***
I have just looked at pictures I have on my hard disk and he is definitely signing with his right hand so maybe you are right he may well be ambidextrous. Maybe he was made to write with his right hand but naturally writes with left but for photos writes with the right. I wonder if anyone else knows more.

That is interesting isn't it! I'm going to see if I can "catch" him in any other pictures using his left hand. Heck I have enough problems using one hand let alone both.

Hi, my FRiends! That Picture is of George Bush Senior, who is left-handed, not our current President Bush, who is right-handed. LOL! I need to Work on my Page and Put more Info with the Pictures.
I Hope you, and all Daily Dosers, are Enjoying this New Year's Day!
To: Kitty Mittens; mupcat
Thanks for the info of course the info I got from the web just said George Bush but not which one which of course confused us even further.

You're Most Welcome, my sweet FRiend.
To: Kitty Mittens; All
Time for me to turn in now or I will not want to get up tomorrow and before I visit dad at the hospital I want to cook a lamb and rabbit casserole, so that I can freeze it in portions and all I have to do when I get back from the hospital in the evening is nuke it in the microwave so at least I am getting semi fresh home cooking.
God Bless you all and God Bless America.

I got one here too. I wonder if they got the names off the lists of volunteers? I thought at first that it may not be mas s produced, but when you look closely, the ink on your name and your state's name are a little darker. Maybe they used an auto-pen for those. But it is cool to have something in his handwriting, and to be acknowledged for the little bit that I did. I was feeling really crummy when I got the mail, and it sure did sheer me up! I wonder if Kerry thanked his volunteers..uh yeah I forgot, he had to pay them to get out the vote. It shows what a thoughtful man GWB is. I did send him a very nice letter after the election. Maybe I'll get a real handwritten reply to that.

The photo might have been reversed in error. Time mag has a photo of him scribbling down some notes about the hurricane in FL, and he is writing right handed. The writing is not reversed, so that has to be accurate. Maybe ambidextrous?
To: Merlinator
I think Kerry took the impersonal route and contacted his volunteers by email and at the same time asked for more money.

We have discovered from Kitty Mittens that it is GHWB that is left handed not the current President Bush apparently Kitty's photo on her about page is not clear which Bush it is.
Post 404 from Kitty explains this.

Sometimes, photos get reversed.
George H. W. Bush, President # 41 - Dubya's Dad is left-handed.
George W. Bush, President # 43 - is right-handed.
Saw a discussion of this recently - and didn't remember that Poppy was left-handed. Its something I usually notice since I'm ambidextrous but prefer to write and eat with my right hand, play racquet sports with my right hand, but do almost everything else with left hand!

My oldest child, daughter, was ambidextrous until she broke her right arm in the first grade. From then on she was left handed. My second oldest, son, is left handed although he plays ball with his right. Younger children are all right handed. My aunt on my father's side is the only one in the family I know of who was left handed.

No one in the hospital should be subjected to someone in the room using a phone all day! A complaint should be made.
Guess in my dotage my tongue has been loosened. My dermatologist's office is bad about people talking loudly on cell phones.
While on the subject of noise, I no longer go to the mall because loud, so called, music is blasting from everywhere. Even Norstroms, who formally had a LIVE piano player, was doing the same. I exit the Giant and Safeway as fast as possible for the same reason. Giant even has it blaring outside! Anyone else having the same problem?
Thanks for listening.

Thanks for the piece on "Phantom" which I plan to see soon.
Recently saw "Finding Neverland" and "Beyond the Sea". The latter with Kevin Spacey is great for anyone old enough to be a Bobby Darin fan. My foot couldn't stop tapping.

Fortunately blaring music in stores is something we have not "imported" some stores have quiet background music which they say helps one relax and therefore buy more but we only have loud music at Christmas with Christmas songs and carols.
