Chris,

GO FOR IT! We are ALL in favor of your ban, it will attract criminals from all over the USA. Just like when Virginia enacted our Carry Conceal Permit in 1995, our crime WENT DOWN 45% as the criminal scum fled back to GUN BANNED DC! Our crime goes DOWN, your crime goes UP! Works for me. I wonder, can you liberals get ANY DUMBER!? Keep up the good work, we are enjoying The People's Republik of Kalifornia's pain, the more stupid things you do, the more your corporate tax base flees to other states! Oh, by the way, what will you do when Her Highness Dianne Feinstein comes to town, with her CCW permit, will you take HER gun away or is this law just for the little people?

Same crew as the city supervisor, Matt Gonzales, who did this artwork in City Hall?
I have a difficult time connecting the words SF & government.

What do you expect from a city whose DA won't seek the death penalty for a cop-killer? Also, in July 2004, Fox News reported:

Police: Cops Outgunned in San Francisco

Many big city police officers carry assault weapons in their vehicles, but not in San Francisco.

Despite a crime wave that has left 55 people, including a police officer, dead at the hands of criminals with high-powered weapons, some fear more violence if cops are comparably armed.

In the early 1980's Kali had a state wide referendum vote to ban handguns. The polls showed it would pass overwhelmingly.
HCI was popping champaigne ahead of time over their victory.

CBS had an anti-gun special on the night before the to convince the people to vote for it!

The next day, the votes were counted and the referendum failed 2 to one 1.

San Fran and Feinsetein then tried to ban them on their own. The state courts turned it down as a violation of the state preemption law.

Here we go again. I have a CCW from Virginia and I was here in 1995 and watched violent crime rates plummet. I just wonder if anyone in San Fran has taken a look at what's going on in Australia since that gov't decided to ban guns? Has anyone got the call from the NRA about the gun ban plan being hatched through the UN (no kidding) by George Soros? Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004 8:38 a.m. EDT LaPierre: Kerryite Soros Pushing Global Gun Ban Billionaire John Kerry supporter George Soros is working through the U.N. to negotiate a treaty that will ban private ownership of firearms on a worldwide basis, says National Rifle Association spokesman Wayne LaPierre. Addressing the annual SAFE: Right to Carry Conference last Sunday on New York, LaPierre warned, "The U.N. is, I believe, the major threat that we're going to be dealing with." www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/10/10/83928.shtml - 22k

While they're at it, they should disarm their police, make them carry only nightsticks and whistles, and call them "Bobbies" (sic).

No, no. Politically incorrect usage of the term "Bobbies" might offend feminist sensibilities. They would have to label them Bobbie persons

So buggering your boyfriend is OK, just so long as neither of you owns a firearm.

I don't get it.

Maybe I should watch Bravo and Showtime more often.
