"Whatever happened to just taking a nice healthy dump every morning?!"Evidently that is just for the common folk, like you and me.
Perhaps believers, like Colette Yates, are fighting against all the crap in this country?
BTW ... Colette ?? ... Is that feminine for Colon? ;)

I heard that this is unhealthy. The large intestine has natural bacterias which break down foods and these are wiped out when the large intestine is washed out. Most enemas never reach that far.

Though I will admit that in less formal times plenty of doctors and dentists had their practice on the ground floor of their family house
It has nothing to do with formality. Those were less regulated times.
You can't operate a business out of your house just because you want to
Is this a good thing?

This thread should flush out any punsters.
It's a target rich environment.
Yates said commissioners are wary because they're not familiar with the procedure, though she provided them with detailed videos and literature.
No, don't want to go there, no, no, no.

Yates said commissioners are wary because they're not familiar with the procedure, though she provided them with detailed videos and literature.I can't imagine why the commissioners weren't eager to review the videos and literature...

You want to cure cancer with fresh vegetable juices, fruit juices, coffee enemas and a few other things? Go here. They have people who testify about being cured. http://www.gerson.org/default.asp
Coffee enemas will clean out and cure the liver. A toxic and overburdened liver is in all cancers and must be taken care of first. No one has to agree with me. This post is only for the adventurous.

As long as she's safe what do they care? I might understand if she was being unsafe (using a Dremel tool, for example) but she wants to sit people on a high pressure water hose. Big deal.

Correct. They were less regulated times. Less government intrusion, meaning less make work jobs for gubbermint parasites

Yates said commissioners are wary because they're not familiar with the procedure, though she provided them with detailed videos and literature. A. I am surprised that didn't get her arrested. B. I think she probably offered to demonstrate but was politely declined. C. If they gave one to Kerry, would there be anything left ?

You can do the same thing by buying a Fleet enema from Wal-Mart -- no more than $2.00. It amazes me how quickly folks will part with their money for something that sounds so EXOTIC when in reality, it is just a longer lasting enema. WHY would anyone want to run an outfit like this out of her home?!!! I can think of many "less messy" business ventures to spend $40,000 on.
