I was once acquainted with a real Forbes family member in Massachusetts, and they don't "connect" with him either.

Reading these post from DU is a guilty pleasure. They do live in their own landscaped snowglobe. It fits their lack of intellect perfectly. Nothing can get in and nothing can get out.

But, on the other hand, how much longer must we suffer John Kerry? Kerry is a popped pimple on the butt of American politics. Kerry means nothing anymore, and his importance fades more with each passing day. Kerry and Al Gore should be forgotten bookends holding up the books of democrats' dreams, but alas, they never seem to be as forgotten as they should be. I'd like to forget he even exists.

Every step along the way he has to decide WHICH John Kerry he wants to be. It must be very tiresome.

He's the guy on the windsurfer, the snowboard, the para-skis, Scaramouche, and the $8,000 mountain bike.

I feel the same way about visiting DU. It's like peering into an alternate universe where down is up. Paranoia and hate run rampant through DU like a herd of wild elephants, yet they strictly ascribe those traits only to we "repukes." I like to go to their Theology discussion area. The ignorance there is breathtaking!

It's pretty hard to fall in love with an arrogant, patrician gigolo who calls himself a hero while at the same calling so many of his fellow veterans war criminals.

If ever there was proof that the DUmmies are completely out of touch with reality, this is it!

Stepahnie...did you ever learn to count? The election was not stolen. You know it, Kerry knows it and we ALL know it. That rhetoric doesn't play anymore. It's old hat like the dem/lib party and people don't buy it.

It wasn't that people didn't connect with kerry...it was kerry who didn't connect with the people. It was him that spoke down to everyone. It was him that told someone in the audience to sit down and be quiet. It was him that told Pres Bush he could send his GOONS...it was his wife that said the hecklers wanted four more years of hell. It was his wife that told a reporter to shove it. It was his son who called our President a COKE HEAD. It was his constant bashing of a sitting President that the people got plain tired of. AFter awhile people look at you and wonder why you have to bash yet can't come up with an idea of your own.

The Swift Boat Vets were determined to show Kerry to the public for what he was in their minds. They stuck to their guns so to speak in spite of the awful things said about them and the threats they received. Why didn't Kerry go out there and face them down and have a debate about those Vietnam issues? He should have but...he didn't.

So, he LOST the election fair and square. Go check out the numbers and come into reality. George W. Bush won BOTH elections fair and square. He has changed the minds and hearts of a lot of people who switched from the dem/lib party and cast their votes for him because he is GENUINE. There is nothing phony about him. He lives in a simple home on a ranch in Texas. He doesn't own 5 or more mansions here and there. He is an honest, caring man who loves his family and the United States and its people. He is the ONLY President in our history to receive that many pop votes. The ONLY President in our history.

Maybe some day you will realize the man sitting in the oval office right now is indeed the man for the job. The true leader of the free world. Then again, maybe you won't. In the meantime though...there are enough of us out here who already know that and it's we who voted and gave him the second term he so richly deserves.

You should feel blessed that President Bush is in the White House. He's the man to get the job done. Not kerry. Kerry is not, has never been and never will be Presidential material. He just doesn't have it. Getting back to the original statement that people didn't connect with him. NO...he didn't connect with the people and frankly, I dont' think he ever could. He just doesn't have it in him and it's not territory he is familiar with. He'd rather blame and bash and talk down to people. No way are you gonna connect with the people in that manner. Maybe one day kerry himself will realize how pompous and arrogant he came across. I doubt it. Sad for him though.

I feel sorry for me. Kerry stopped representing me as of November 3rd. Folded like a cheap umbrella.

Kerry clearly lost both the popular vote and the electoral vote. But to this nimrod, his acceptance of such is "folding".

This is why these nimrods should never, NEVER gain hold of any real power.

The way they're portraying him as some sympathetic, social outcast geekboy is a joke, and bears no relation to reality.

His problem wasn't that he was an introverted, shy geek. His problem was that he was an arrogant prick. The stories of his arrogance and condescension are legendary. How shabbily he treats the hoi polloi in Boston, his insults towards the secret service agent on the ski slope, etc.

To the extent people didn't "connect" with him on a personal level, it was because they detected that arrogance.

These people are delusional:

"supersexy Momma T", (Okay, that one made my stomach roil)

and

""Where's Edwards?" my *ss! [edited for FR] As if he were sitting somewhere eating bonbons." (Now that one had me snorting and giggling hysterically.)

You've got to hand it to them for one thing: it takes talent to live in a world totally devoid of facts. LOL!

One can only hope! What a headline that would be.....
"Despondent dems commit mass suicide in protest of election results"
An unnamed DNC operative, when asked if the suicide of thousands of democrat voters would hamper future election efforts responded that "it will have little or no impact because historically, dead, or as we like to refer them inactive democrats have voted in nearly every election since the party's inception."
