Voice? I thought they had to debate for 2 hours and then vote. I hope they do it by voice, so it shows how retarted they are. Why would she do this anyway? Nothing to gain but being Exiled.

She won't be exiled by the DNC, by liberals, or by leftist PACs. She'll get $$ for her 'courage'.

Obviously, the dems have decided to lurch even farther to the left and stay there. I think this is an opportunity for her to get on the national news and scream about how horrible Adolph Bush is. Nothing more.

Let her. I said yesterday you could already start writing the Ohio ads for the 2006 and 2008 elections. "Remember when Democrats tried to disenfranchise all 6 million Ohio votes because they didn't like the results..."

I read on the Daily KOS that she met with a bunch of women today and said that if she got enough calls she would do it. Apparently the DUers have called and e-mailed every single Senator and bugged them until one broke down! Looks like she's their sucker!

They aren't called Libtards for nothing. But watch for the pretty blue "enlightened American" plastic bracelets they'll all be wearing. That's what they believe, as FAS as it is!

Half the Democrats will vote for it, thereby going farther to discredit their party

I think it's wonderful. A Dem stands up to contest and then is voted down by the other members of her own party. I know I'll be watching C-span tomorrow...sounds like loads of fun!

She has no basis for her challenge other than it wasn't fair her candidate didn't win Ohio.

If it is just a voice vote from the floor (i.e. no one's vote goes on record), epect a LOT of the Rats to support her, as a means of poking their fingers right into the President's eye.

So much for "reaching ascross the aisle in the spirit of bipartisanship", Mr. Frist.

I disagree. I bet you can count the number of Senators who will vote to uphold the challenge on one hand. The Dems have suffered multiple losses where they lost ground in the Senate. My guess is only a few Senators will vote for it to avoid giving ammunition to their future challengers.

Whenever the Dems need someone to do something really stupid, Barbara Boxer is there for them. Everytime she opens her mouth, I'm so ashamed she's from California. And we can't get rid of her because of the way her district is set up!! I just hope Arnold does some redistricting SOON.

FYI..I was watching a little bit of the newly elected Senators being sworn in yesterday. The format was, in groups of four, they came down to the well of the Senate, escorted by the other senator from their state to be sworn in by VP Cheney. Feinstein did NOT accompany Boxer...I think she grabbed Jim Talent to walk down with her...curious, eh?

If this is the case, can't an individual Senator demand a recorded vote? I wouldn't let them get away with an anonymous eye-poke.

I got a kick out of the "Enlightened American" wristband because for the past six months my kid's been wearing a Bush/Cheney wristband, and guess what...they're identical to the blue Dem bracelet they're selling, except, of course, for the embossed message. (oops, guess some Dem didn't do their homework.)

My kid says he can't wait for a Dem to come up to him, thinking he's found an ally and say, "I see you're an enlighted American." Then my son intends to say, "You bet I'm enlightened!" and flash the Bush/Cheney insignia at them.

Except she's a Senator. There are no districts. She's elected state-wide. Afraid your stuck with her.
