Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, Corey Pein . . . I can't keep all the has-been child stars straight.

In fact, Hailey's document has been removed. I don't blame him, I read it before he took it down, and it was nothing but a smokescreen, focusing on font types instead of the overall document, and even then filled with errors and misleading claims.
I saw Newcomer's demolition of Hailey not too long after it was posted. The whole experience, I gather, was rather traumatic for Professor Hailey. Having been on the receiving end of rather more scrutiny than I bargained for, I can relate to the feeling of being under seige. Hailey's analysis was preposterous, and he should have known better. Trying to refute Mr. Newcomer's analysis was a foolish undertaking.
Young Mr. Pein, however, appears undaunted. But he is only compounding his mistake. It's a poor way to start your career as a journalist. It will be interesting to see his reaction if, as I expect, the Thornburgh report is strongly critical.
FLAILING AWAY is how the folks at Ratherbiased.com put it. Another decent read.
