I don't think it is seen as a sidestepping of the United Nations.

Nope. More like you waltzed right past 'em....

and I LOVE it!

Dem Liberals will suppport KOFI and cover it up then blame Bush when it backfires.

Don't kid yourself, President Bush supports the UN, just like his daddy does. They are both big globalists, and for that matter so are MANY Republicans. The blame goes to ALL of them, including President Bush!! It's past time he started looking out for America first. The UN is a criminal organization and a whole bunch of employees need to go to prison, including Kofi. IMO

I love the President but cannot believe how he gives so many chances to people who have proved to be untrustworthy.

I do too, and I believe he's done/doing a lot of good things for Americans. Where I part company with him is over the UN, and his insane amnesty/open border's plan. Both will destroy America's sovereignty! He needs to get his priorities straight!!

I hope the President is also thinking of snubbing the UN in this way

You know better than that.

Smart man, you have to oversee these things yourself if you want to make sure your taxpayer's money is being spent wisely. It also cuts out the huge UN administration fees.
