Which is logical. How they can get away with voting without ID is beyond me.

If you mean would a run-off election be a way to settle this, I would say no. A run-off is for a specific purpose, like if several candidates are running in a primary election and nobody gets at least 50% of the vote. They have a run-off between the top two vote-getters to see which can top 50% so they can run against the other party's candidate. A contested election is not settled by a run-off, but by other means.

No. Our current law does not provide for runoffs.

Same in Hawaii. Valid ID required to vote as it should be in every state.

Hopefully, the rally in the WA state capitol scheduled for Tuesday will draw huge crowds to underscore public disgust with the election "results."

Rally in Downtown Vancouver @ 10:30am?
To: CyberCowboy777
I was planning to go to Olympia, spend the night with my brother and then file my petition to recall Gregoire on the 12th, just after she is inaugurated.

Our officials are always talking about fixing our election process. They should start by requiring all voters to have valid picture ID's and voting in your designated percent. That should stop all voter fraud.

Along with an ID there needs to be a computer database that tracks "how many" times people vote. Some vote in each county where they own a house. I heard that some in Carmel/Monterey voted more than once based on how many homes they owned. Liberals one and all.
To: mrs tiggywinkle
In Riverside County CA, the first time you vote in a particular precinct you must show your ID. There is a mark on the list of registered voters which indicates ID required.
Not the same as everyone everytime, but something.
