You know what? I think that was THE major reason why Poodle boy lost. I live in NYC and work with a lot of liberals and the next day after that debate they were FUMING that their liberal God should say such a thing! One lib I work with even told me he was going Republican!! Yes, that`s how bad that comment affected Poddle boy! Like Republicans said at the begining of the campaign; Bush doesn`t have to do anything to get elected. Kerry does it all for him. I don`t why libs got so mad at that comment, but I suspect they were mad at Poodle boy all year and just needed one good reason to rebel.
