The Supreme Court Endorses Sodomy, Terrorist Rights, and Importing Foreign Law..... Is that in the Constitution?
Youre right: Its not. But these days the Constitution is no restraint on our out-of-control Supreme Court. The Court imperiously strikes down laws and imposes new ones purely on its own arbitrary whims. Even though John Kerry was defeated at the polls, the majority on the allegedly "conservative" Supreme Court reflects his views and has absolute power. Theres a word for that: tyranny.
In Men in Black, 77 WABC radio talk show host and legal scholar Mark Levin dissects the judicial tyranny that is robbing us of our freedoms and stuffing the ballot box in favor of liberal policies. If youve ever wondered whyno matter who holds political powerAmerican society always seems to drift to the left, Mark Levin has the answer: the black-robed justices of the Supreme Court, subverting democracy in favor of their own liberal views.
In Men in Black, youll learn:
How liberal judicial activism is based on a legal theory that upheld slavery and segregation
Why Roe v. Wade not only mandated abortion-on-demand but made the Constitution null and void
How the Court wants to import laws from other countries to help win the culture war for liberals
Why the justices think noncitizens deserve equal rights with citizens
How helping terrorists file suit against the United States is another innovation of our Supreme Court
Men in Black, as Rush Limbaugh notes in his introduction, "couldnt be more timely or important, as liberals continue shamelessly to thwart the people, Congress, the president, and state governments by using the courts to dictate national policy.
Men in Black is a tremendously important and compelling book." It could very well be the most important book you read this year!
"F. Lee" Levin rules!
I wonder... when will Sean Hannity be interviewing the Great One about his new book? I want a cassette ready for this one! I hope Rush makes an exception and interviews him, too. While I'm at it, I'd love to hear Savage interview Mark Levin. This will be completely kool. Levin is up there with Ann Coulter in my "book". Thrilled FReegards....
"Its not. But these days the Constitution is no restraint on our out-of-control Supreme Court."
Sad situation.
We need to rope in our out-of-control judiciary and return ths country to the Constitutional Republic it was meant to be.
END JUDICIAL TYRANNY NOW!
Yup!
What Mark said!
Thanks for posting this.
F.Lee Levin BTTT
The real treat would be for Lanny Davis to be on at the same time.
Well, it's either promo copy blather or Mark has an explanation for the statement.
Levin is generally right, but he gets this point wrong. The Constitution authorizes government powers, NOT our rights. So if it isn't in the Constitution, it isn't a legitimate function of government.
EVERYTHING else is reserved to the people or states.
As a matter of fact, I have wondered just that. This will, therefore, be a must read.
It's always a thrill to hear from The Great One. I'm looking forward to the book, also!
I'm not sure that "endorse" is the wrong word. Their recent decision stated that there is a constitutional right to sodomy. This decision was, as it happens, based partly on foreign laws.
It's a reasonable position to say that adult homosexuals should be allowed to do what they like in the privacy of their homes. But it's NOT a constitutional right.
My own view is that the laws before this decision was issued were reasonable. Many states had abolished their anti-sodomy laws, according to the will of the voters. A few states retained them, but seldom or never enforced them. Saying that sodomy is a protected, inalienable, constitutional right and depriving the voters of any chance to regulate it is certainly an endorsement in my view.
That's why I said I'd love to see "F Lee" on the Supreme Court and I'm not just whistlin' Dixie.
Cicero and Clara Lou - I think you're both right. The book jacket was prepared by the publisher and first released without my review. I have since changed it. While I agree with Cicero, and did not say the Court endorsed sodomy, and that's no longer on the jacket. But what's most important is what's between the covers, and I hope you get a chance to read it when it's released on Feb 7. Take care.
Good luck with your book, it's badly needed. There was a powerful discussion of our tyrannical judiciary in First Things quite a few years ago. It made a big splash among those in the know, but didn't manage to change much.
In my opinion, judicial appointments are the bottom line, more important than anything else. We have four years to start turning the tide, and I hope Bush doesn't give an inch on this issue. If necessary, let him compromise on smaller issues, but not this one.
bump
I hope the book lives up to the very clever title!
All hail Dr. Levin.
Best luck with the new book, Dr. Levin! I'll be watching for it!
Thanks to you and everyone else. I will do all I can to get our message out, with your help. Good night.
And the sequel to this book should be... Friends of Dorothy in Politics by Maurice Levin ;-)
The domestic enemy Sunni Triangle...
The Democratic Crime Syndicate
The MSM/"Education" Propaganda Machine
Activist "Judges"
Looking forward to reading what the foremost conservative legal mind has to say. It's always a treat to hear Mark on WABC.
Kristinn, stay safe on the 20th, especially with those ANSWER crazies on the loose.
Post the Wash and Magna-Carta Gore-mless George III of England would have swapped one of his legs for even one third of the tyranical powers the rule-by-fiat monsters asride our feral courts' benches have taken upon themselves.
For even one third of the authority!
But -- no sweat -- our Founding Fathers knew what to do about that bloody tyrant and his red-coated bully boys and thuggees.
So, what are we?
Wooses?
Mark could never pass the offensive the dems would put up in resistance to his nomination. But Levin could be counted on to answer his critics like "Napster" Biden, The "Chap of Quiddick", "Leaky" Leahy, and "Moneybags" Schumer. He would probably not resist firing back at "Single-bullet / Scottish-law Sphinctre. It would make for some fabulous television - a Ti-Vo necessity. He!!, Time/Life would make a gold-mine from that video, Guaranteed better than Ollie on trial.
"...sometimes those few minutes become the highlight of the hour for Hannity."
Indeed they are! God bless him. I hope he's taking stuff to curb his cholestorol. Mark Levin is a shining gem. I hope he lives another 40 years, with all the wit he has today. FReegards....
MIB, the movie. Seemed like entertaining silliness , until the scene with Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith in front of the twin towers. What was that all about, I wonder, late at night
"Mark could never pass the offensive the dems would put up in resistance to his nomination."
Mark Levin could chew them up and spit them out at the hearings. He would have the complete support of Hannity and Rush. He would be given a fair shake and plenty of attention at FoxNews. He would be the lawnmower, and the girly men would be the lawn.
The problem he would have would be the Bush administration. People wanted a moderate. They got a moderate. God bless GW Bush. He's doing a great job with the war, with the economy, and with fighing business-as-usual with socialist insecurity. Even manufacturing jobs are up! But when it comes to abortion, NEA, recess appointments of judges, and investigating crimes on of the left, he's lukewarm. Mixed reviews. It's not to Bush's credit that Mark Levin doesn't fit in.
FReegards....
And wouldn't it be refreshing to see a Conservative do that very thing to those pompous gas-bag Senators? It would be well worth it to me. Maybe in my lifetime I could see all this "nice" from a nominee go out the window, but I doubt it. *~*
My 13 year old often hears The Great One in the car when I pick him up from practice. We listened to you on Hannity earlier this week and when you were on H&C I made him watch.
Being 13 he was not amused. Being a parent with the power of seizure, I told him I would be seizing his MP3 player. He watched.
I look forward to reading your book. In a few years my son will not be too happy about being forced to read it, but he will read it. A parent has to do what a parent has to do.
Keep up the good work. We need more like you.
